The reason men struggle against police/guard dogs is because the presence of the dog's handler stops the attacked person from putting full concentration in fighting the animal.
Had it been a 1on1 fight, I'm sure the bum/criminal would've put up a much better account of himself.

^If a dog were biting my dick off I'd be pretty intent on restraining it don't you think?

except it would be unlikely for the dog to get into such a position. A dog or wolf will not bite the man before he lands a punch or kick. I've shown evidence of this on previous pages.
A dog had a head start charge on a police man, taking him by surprise yet he still kicked it in the head.
The wolf just has 1 good charge and then it's going to be outmanned and taken down in close quarter combat.

Ehm, did you care to read the entire link SC posted about the prison inmate who got his @$$ owned by an 80 pound German shepherd? He kicked the dog first and it did little but anger the dog. Here it is again. www.sundayworld.com/columnists/index.php?preview=11997

But anyway, that dog was specifically trained to restrain, and overpower humans, whereas I doubt that man ever tried to take on a canine as formidable as a German shepherd.

I don't think German shepherds are terribly formidable dogs, at least not compared to wolves. True, the dog may have been trained for the job, but the man was over 2 times as heavy and he's probably won fights with humans before. Yeah I agree about the man getting it though. Deserved it.

"much better" only because it favours your side of the argument. Pitbulls have killed adult men as well.

That man was incompetent. He couldn't even beat up a dog less than half his weight. And that makes the man incompetent because...the canine won? You can't simply pass off somebody as incompetent because he doesn't support your view of what would happen in a fight. That man raped and killed a human, who is probably much stronger than most dogs. How is it better? If you're basing it off on who won the fight, well, I'm afraid I'd have nothing to say then.

Apparently canines can overcome this size gap fairly well. Besides, that's hunting. You're lucky to even bag a dwarf. Wolves are smart animals, they don't lie around waiting to be shot.

Have you been kicked in the ribs or chest before? You can get severely winded by being punched in the gut by men similar to your size. The man is much larger than a wolf.
BTW Anom, have you had a chance to talk to TheWho on CF? He wrote long extensive posts in the human vs wolf thread as to why the man will win. He's probably the most knowledgeable man there regarding human/ape fighting ability.

Yes I've talked to him, can't say I agree on his veganist stance, but no I haven't read any of his posts on the matter of wolf vs human and in fact I can't. The german shepherd that mauled the dude was kicked in the head (which is entirely out of a rib kick's league) and the only thing it appeared to do was piss it off. That's a mere german shepherd. It's not on the level of the wolf, even if it does have police training.

This is what "TheWho" stated regarding rib strikes. Quoted as following:
wolves present themselves to us in close quarters in a forward facing manner.. they are a very narrow structure facing forwards and a long and wide structure facing sidewards.. therefore, in close quarters, they present huge targets perfect for hooks and roundhouse kicks as opposed to humans in close distances who are a very narrow structure at the sides... there is a lot of space to throw powerful hooks and upper cuts and roundhouse kicks to the ribs/abdomen for example.. or to the throat while kneeling or in a crouched position.. of course you can shorten or lengthen the punch/kick depending on how the wolf positions himself relative to your own (free) movements... simple..
Again. Quoted directly from him. Not my words.
Not to mention, does a wolf have a means with which to protect his ribs in the first place?
