an agitated bull moose could win, they are very agressive and have great senses. If he has his antlers down there is no hope for a head on attack, and cervids are very hard to sneak up on. Totally. A charging moose will easily fell and cripple the ceratosaurus.

A smallish ceratosaurus may have some trouble, but I favor it due to weaponry. I dont think the moose will just be able to get in a good charge and knock it over. Small ceratosaurus 7/10 but larger estimates of ceratosaurus would easily win.

even wolves get kicked by moose so a ceratosaurus, a much larger and slower target is not fast enough to avoid a charge from a moose.

Yes wolves get kicked by a moose, they dont get charged at. Just charging straight at the dinosaur isnt going to automatically knock it down, I even think its a bad strategy as the cerato could just dodge it. Also wolves are much much smaller and less durable then the therapod. Yes the moose has a much easier time getting in a hit, but that same hit will do far far less damage to the dinosaur then to the tinier and weaker wolf.

the moose can use its antler tines to hook and manipulate the ceratosaurus.

Ceratosaurus easily imo. Better armed, and if the moose were to charge then the Ceratosaurus could run out of its way, and then come in and kill the moose.

Ceratosaurus easily, if an American Black Bear (and a wolf) can do it... why can't the Ceratosaurus do so. Also I feel that Ceratosaurus is a bit underrated on the 1st page. When the moose tries to charge at the Ceratosaurus, the theropod should be able to go in and bite at the neck of the moose.

Ceratosaurus would win here, even at parity. Honestly, I do not see how the moose's antlers would provide enough protection in this fight. Ceratosaurus may not have been the most powerful or deadly theropod, but it certainly wasn't defenseless. Its upper jaw was armed with huge serrated knife-like teeth, even longer than those of carnosaurs (proportionally).
In reply to the claim that ceratosaurus was a specialized piscivore:
It was not. You can infer that based on its morphology. Did it have impressively long forearms? Did it have especially thin jaws? Did it have conical teeth? The answer to all of these questions is "NO". Its rostral dentition appeared to have been used to damage the spinal cord of a prey animal more than anything. Ceratosaurus was most definitely not a piscivorous animal.

So far I've read comments saying the moose will not be manipulating Ceratosaurus with its antlers, the moose will be using intelligence here, and it will easily catch and ram Ceratosaurus to death, that it was a piscivore even with its anatomy suggesting it's not, and that since Ceratosaurus is a dinosaur (and thus overrated) that it will lose here.......
HOLY CRAP!!!!!!!
I realize these are rather old comments, but just the thought that people even once believed in it....
I don't know how big Ceratosaurus nasicornis was, though I think I can confidently say Ceratosaurus dentisulcatus would probably win. I'll try to find skeletals of the two later.

scotthartman.deviantart.com/art/Ceratosaurus-growth-series-175666594I guess this could give you an idea. But I think I heard that Ceratosaurus dentisulcatus may just be an adult Ceratosaurus nasicornis. Either way, that robustly built Ceratosaurus would likely win this. Also forgot Felis Rex's comment, Ceratosaurus is significantly bigger and possibly bulkier than one, of course it's going to be more durable. Many of the comments here are just.......

Regarding my first comment, I meant "will be manipulating" as opposed to "will not be manipulating". Sorry, error.
