Red-tailed Boa-Boa constrictorThe Boa constrictor is a large snake, although only modestly sized in comparison to other large snakes such as the reticulated and Burmese python, and can reach lengths of anywhere from 1–4 meters (3–13 feet) depending on the locality and the availability of suitable prey.[4] There is clear sexual dimorphism seen in the species, with females generally being larger in both length and girth than males. The boa constrictor is a heavy bodied snake, with large specimens reaching weights of up to 27 kg, or 60 pounds. animaliaenthusiasts.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=reptiles&action=display&thread=449VSPapaun Python-Apodora papuana A large snake, with adults growing to lengths of over 5 m (17 feet). However, they are not nearly as heavy bodied as other pythons, weighing in at no more than about 22.5 kg (50 lb). They are noted for having the ability to change color, though the exact mechanism and reasons for it are not completely understood, they can vary from black to a mustard yellow, but are normally an olive green in appearance when young and dark olive when older, with the sides and underside distinctly lighter. animaliaenthusiasts.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=reptiles&action=display&thread=781

I think at max sizes the pythons whipped, parity is closer but I slightly favor the boa as they are equally semi-arboreal but the boa is heavier bodied. Temperment is also a weighing factor, even reptiles vary in temperament individually, but an aggressive boa is relatively common. The Paupan on the other hand is usually observed to be remarkably docile.
