^ Easier said than done. Of course the thagomizer can hit the elephant. The tail is over 10 feet long and it's hips are 6 or 7 feet off the ground. Also, like I said, the tail is flexible.

A 10 foot long flexible tail won't help you if your opponent is 20 feet away from it in front of your face.

We're just going in circles here. Whatever.

The African King demolishes the Stego. Much larger, stronger, better armed, and far more intelligent.

I've changed my mind on this one. The elephant is quite a bit more robust, and the Stego's tiny head is low to the ground, making it especially vulnerable.

The elephant is smart enough to attack from the front of stegosaurus and avoid the tail. The tail is pretty inflexible to begin with anyway.

The elephant will win this easily. Not only is it stronger, but it is likely faster, more agile and more than capable of taking the damage from the Stegosaurus and then tusk it and kill it. Also, the stegosaurus is much lower and easily capable of being knocked over. When that happens, the elephant should then stomp on the dinosaur and the fight is over.

I'm not sure how big Stegosaurus is. Either way, I think the elephant has the tools to win 80% of the time. It's a compactly built animal that can withstand numerous thagomizer strikes and can simply stab the Stegosaurus to death.
Thylacoleo, I thought you believed intelligence doesn't matter.

Actually I vote for the steggo because as they said it can just quick turn around hit the elephant a few times and bam! Dead elephant
