Pigs are super strong but have poor stamina. If this was a small boar, the dire wolf can win if it wears the pig down with small nips and then goes in for the throat bite. Otherwise, the pig will just thrash it and tusk it to death very quickly. At similar weights boar 6/10.

the boar's thick neck is too tough for the wolf to crush IMO

The wolf tears into the windpipe with its teeth and causes the prey to bleed out. And as I said the wolf must be very close in weight to the boar for it to have chances of winning.

The more robust dire wolf might not have the same stamina to run down a boar in the way modern wolves do. They are most often depicted as big game specialist.
