the show, Inside Nature's Giants proved the shark bite is much weaker than a crocodile's. I don't doubt the shark can win but it won't be a cakewalk by any stretch of imagination.

your honestly saying a well placed bite from a 2000lbs crocodile won't be destructive enough to kill a GWS? You can't be serious, even a fin bite leaves the shar vulneerable to a death roll. A head bite or a tail bite is nore than I can picture a GWS swimming away from. The same can be said for the croc. A well placed bite and the giant reptile would bleed out. I don't think Taurus was being serious. I doubt anyone thinks a GWS can just shrug off a salty crocodile's bite. The crocodile has the clear advantage in the early stages of the fight IMO.

Man I miss Taurus! We were always on opposite sides of debates but he was good and I always enjoyed our arguements.

will the crocodile's armor hold up better than seal blubber against a shark's bite if no one minds me asking?
I should probably know but still I want to be sure.

www.dailytelegraph.com.au/news/did-great-white-bite-crocs-head-off/story-e6freuy9-1226553296643A GIANT crocodile's head has been found washed up on a beach with locals speculating it was the victim of a massive shark attack. Brigitte Cary-Smith, 50, and husband Neale, 56, discovered the huge decapitated head while walking their dogs on the beach in St Lucia, South Africa. See the photos, video here The gruesome scene was photographed and videoed and has quickly become an internet hit, with people wondering how the animal met its end. See the photos, video here It's not certain how the croc met its gruesome end but local experts believe it was attacked by a great white shark. In the footage Neale can be heard saying: 'You can see where the shark has actually ripped it. 'On the side here in the flesh you can see the shark teeth. 'It’s quite normal for sharks to swim here in the sea at St Lucia and it’s also very normal for very large sharks to be very close to the shore.' The couple, who live nearby and walk their dogs on the beach every morning at sunrise, say the cleanly severed head points to a great white. And they say poachers are not the suspects as the head and jaw are thought of as the most valuable part of the three metre-long animal.

so the crocodile's scales won't hold up much better than seal blubber I guess.

I have no doubt a shark could kill a croc but that decap is far too neat for my liking

that's what I meant to say. It's a little odd.
But it seems most people agree both the shark or the crocodile can kill each other

the shark was likely much larger than the crocodile it killed.
A bigger crocodile like Lolong or Gomek would not go down as easy

the article said the crocodile was 3 meters.
Lolong, Gomek, Utan, and Hank are much larger than this crocodile.

Not a giant by any means, but a 10 ft croc is a large mature apex animal that one would assume has little to fear.
