I think a 1,100+ kilogram horse can win to an average moose. The moose has better/more weapons. it wins.

I think a 1,100+ kilogram horse can win to an average moose. The moose has better/more weapons. it wins. In exchange, the horse is significantly heavier. Not sure anymore if it's enough though.

I would favor the moose. The reason is it is taller. So it's front hoof strikes would be at the horses head. The horse would have to keep turn its back to throw its kicks with both back legs which makes it more stationary. The nose when it has antlers would charge and batter the horse with them. It would take a lot of side to side movement(much quicker than a horse can move) to avoid the charge and counter with bites or kicks.
If the fight lasted long enough the horse would out last the moose in theory if it could exert the moose enough. Just like real figjts with humans there is so many variables. The strategy, toughess, etc of the individual are what makes the difference and those stats can't be seen on paper.
