I could go on a lot more. I definately would love some giants but with small children around it just doesn't seem very practical. Reticulated python though I may break down and buy a dwarf. green anaconda The leopard eater python also known as the African rock python There are also many hot snakes I'd love to own. Bushmaster Cottonmouth

Unless I somehow managed to get a komodo I doubt I really have to worry about a lizard eating near by children. Anyway some non monitor lizards i would love to own Long nosed leopard Aussie water dragon alligator lizard Giant gridiled lizards, they live in large social groups so i would just love to watch there interactions Im not all that drawn towards super vibrant colours, maybe thats why I like so many desert species.

Even members of the same species should be housed seperately and closely monitored in social interaction.

Exactly, very very few species of reptiles benefit from being housed together even breeding pairs need to watched and kept seperate after the deed is done to avoid strees and injury to the female (many lizards are fairly aggressice when it comes to courtship)

I've seen species of island iguanas housed with water dragons in large enclosures at the zoo You can usually put two similarly sized lizard spwcis together without too much conflict but it is still stressful for the animals.
