on the top jaw the inner teeth on the python is nearly as big as the outer teeth, on the anaconda the inner teeth seems much smaller than the outer row. i am going to try to find some pics of open skulls.

Maybe if you are an highly intelligent animal and happens to be preparing for a fight, rather than being in the midst of one. I think the teeth design are also pretty irrelevant since the conflict is going to be determined by squeezing and not biting. Now that I look at the two, anacondas look a lot more powerfully built than pythons.

oh yea is that why the pictures so much bigger? I couldn't find a detailed smaller one. Sorry. I could re-size but then you wouldn't be able to see it clearly.

anacondas teeth look more fragile as they ae long and thin but I am no snake expert IMO, they look stronger. And by the jaws I was looking at, the Anaconda seems to have more teeth.

actually anaconda and indeed all boas have less teeth than pythons. They do? The picture I posted on the first page showed more teeth on the Anaconda.

Ya. You're right. Anacondas have 100 teeth. I couldn't find how many teeth a Reticulated Python had but Ball Pythons had about 150. So I'm assuming the Reticulated Python would have more.
