Here is another comparison i`ve made; Global Moderator - Please fix the lion/tiger comparision image. Not only does it appear to stretched out, but it extends beyond the boxed lines.

^Someone should do one for Plestocene Eurasian megafauna - there were some species there that didn't exist in America. not to mention Australia and South America.

@mp, you find a good pic of one of these animals from side view, open it in photoshop, place it one layer above the background layer and erase the background on the animal layer...it can take some practice to get the results you want. this is a guestimate on my part - i'm not sure how much taller a big male Pantanal jaguar would be compared to the tom from Gabon.. i could scale the jag down closer to the leopard's size. both are prime examples of their species. You're welcome. I redid the leopard-jaguar one (with a different jaguar), and stuck in my sig so i don't look so biased towards leopards :
