Match 1: Gamera vs Scrappy Rex
Gamera tore his way through the buildings of Tokyo, the military forces proving useless against the nuclear juggernaut. Gamera unleashed his trademark Plasma Fireball, vaporising buildings and planes, and three gyaoses alike.
However, there was one person stopping him.
Gamera made his way towards the Tokyo Tower, ready to crumble it to the ground, when suddenly...
"Be Again Is Scrappy Doo?"
Gamera turned his head in confusion, spotting the only person who could ever say something like that:
Scrappy Doo transformations.
The obvious Scrappy Doo as monster laughed as he looked at the screen and pointed at Gamera. Gamera roared angrily as he deemed Scrappy-Rex as a threat.
Charging forward, Gamera punched Scrappy-Rex square in the face, sending the Scottish man flying into a building. Scrappy-Rex sprung back to his feet, enlarging his right fist as he said "SEE?" before he punched Gamera hard, sending the giant turtle sliding backwards. Gamera growled in suprise before he charged forward again, spinning around and sweeping out Scrappy-Rex's feet from under him, knocking the 'human' onto his back. Gamera then stomped away on Scrappy-Rex's face, bringing out a scream of pain from him.
Scrappy-Rex grabbed Gamera with his giant hand before he flung Gamera into a nearby building, brining rubble down upon him. Gamera roared enraged before he pushed himself back to his feet before he fired off his Plasma Fireball, the blue beam plowing into Scrappy-Rex's chest and sending him flying backwards with a scream of pain, the drunken man crashing through several rows of buildings before he tumbled down the streets when Gamera ceased firing.
Scrappy-Rex grumbled as he pushed himself back onto his feet, his chest smoking.
"I HATE you campers!!"
Scrappy-Rex then stood up as he hand his Giant Punch, the sonic energies taking Gamera completly by suprise as it hit him like a freight train and slamming him into several buildings himself. Unlike Gamera, however, Scrappy-Rex refused to stop as he kept firing, Gamera sliding across the ground, digging a deep trench with his dorsal spines. Scrappy-Rex finally stopped when Gamera reached Tokyo Bay.
Gamera groaned as he pushed himself to his feet, shaking his head and clearing the cobwebs. Gamera turned his head, visibly shocked that that attack had pushed him back so far. Scrappy-Rex was indeed much tougher than he could've imagined.
Then Gamera heard Scrappy-Rex growling and looked up, his jaw dropping as Scrappy-Rex had climbed up Tokyo Tower and jumped off straight at Gamera, his giant fist out front. Gamera quickly retaliated the only way he knew how. Charging up his might, Gamera fired another Blast, Scrappy-Rex intercepting it with his Giant Punch. The two beams clashed back and forth, neither side refusing to back down.
Finally, the buildup of energy caused by the beam clash exploded, sending both Gamera and Scrappy-Rex flying away, Gamera falling into the ocean, Scrappy-Rex crashing down onto an oil refinery, spreading fire across the docks.
Gamera rose out of the waves, water being sent out onto land, putting out the flames as the Kaiju King stomped his way towards Scrappy-Rex, who was getting back up as well.
"ROAR!, You ever heard of son of bitch, Mm!."
Gamera then took advantage of Scrappy-Rex's state as he kicked Scrappy-Rex in the face, knocking the Scottish drunk back down as Gamera grabbed Scrappy-Rex, picking him up before he tossed him into a building, the TF2 freak gasping out as rubble fell down on him.
Gamera made his way towards Scrappy-Rex, only to receive a giant fist to the face, sending him toppling onto the docks as Scrappy-Rex stood up. Scrappy-Rex then grabbed Gamera with his enlarged hand once more before he threw Gamera back into the ocean. Gamera rose above the surface, ready to continue the fight...
...only to witness Scrappy-Rex's fist heading straight at him.
Scrappy-Rex's giant fist smashed into Gamera's skull, firing him down underwater, blood steadily oozing out of a visible crack on his head. Scrappy-Rex laughed in victory as he waved his giant hand in the air before he said one last thing:
"Good Luck Turtle"
Winner: Scrappy-Rex

Match 2: A Goofy Movie Bigfoot vs Heisei King Ghidorah
Bigfoot stomped around in the mountains of the Great Valley, trying to find and kill something. He was looking so hard to kill something, that he didn't notice a glowing shape take form above him.
Then...
WHAM!!!
Something fell upon Bigfoot, pinning him to the ground. Bigfoot roared before he stood up, pushing off King Ghidorah as he whipped around to face him.
KG fired of his electrical power, shredding Bigfoot's scales like paper as the the ape fell to one knee. Bigfoot then charged forward when KG stopped firing, grabbing ahold of the cyborg's right head before he threw him into a boulder. KG got up and as Bigfoot jumped at him, bit down on Bigfoot's legs with his outer head before he swung him around into the wall. Bigfoot angrily socked the heads in between their eyes, dizzying them and making them let go, allowing Bigfoot to ape-punch KG, sending the hydra flying backwards and smashing through a bouldet.
King Ghidorah stood up as he flapped his wings, sending a wave of wind and rocks flying at Bigfoot, bombarding Bigfoot and stabbing him with shrapnel. Bigfoot staggered from the shotgun-like blast, before he ran forward and rammed KG with all his might, toppling the three-headed dragon and allowing Bigfoot to jump on him, raining fists down upon his faces. KG roared as he struggled to break free, but to no avail.
King Ghidorah then shot his left head forward, punching Bigfoot in the chest and knocking him off. KG rose to his feet before he flew up, Bigfoot punch his hand around King Ghidorah's body. KG flew higher into the air, Bigfoot struggling wildly, until the dragon simply let go, the red ape-like cryptid named Sasquatch, the yellow three-head dragon, falling down, tumbling down the mountain, smashing into boulders, peeling his skin off, his bones breaking, his right eye stabbed with a rock.
Bigfoot slammed into the ground, throwing a wave of dirt into the air. King Ghidorah flew down, stomping down on Bigfoot's skull, cracking it open. Refusing to die, Bigfoot grabbed KG's legs before he swung him around and threw him into a tree. KG tried to get up, but Bigfoot picked him up again, jumping into the air as he positioned KG's heads toward the ground before he came back down, ram attack KG's heads into the ground.
King Ghidorah reached up and bit Bigfoot's neck, throwing him head-first into the ground as he bombarded him with slap and punch by Bigfoot, tearing open his flesh and burning the bones.
Bigfoot weakly tried to get up, but Bigfoot jumps, and grabs a bashed to down his Hand Punch forward, clamping down on King Ghidorah's body before he unleashed countless bolts of electricity, the dinosaur struggling wildly as electricity tore open his flesh and caused his bones to crack. Bigfoot also ripped open King Ghidorah's face with his bashed against ground six times, the energies punching holes through King Ghidorah's skull. Finally he let go, allowing King Ghidorah's electrified body, still sparking with volts, to fall to the ground.
Bigfoot cackled to victory before he flew back into the future, his mission a success.
Winner: Bigfoot

Match 3: Heavy Weapons Guy vs Princess Luna
Heavy ran through the Everfree Forest, minigun revving as he looked around, trying to find any sign of a spy, but no such luck. However, he soon came into a clearing and stumbled upon an odd site.
There was a statue in the center of the clearing, one that looked equine in appearance. Only the statue had wings, a horn, a flowing, but evil-looking, mane, and an evil, almost predatory look to it's face. Heavy also spotted the figure kneeling before it. The being was obviously a horse... that is, if a horse could have a mane that looked like it was made of the night sky itself, a bluish-black coat that shimmered in the moonlight, a pair of black, but majestic wings that were currently tucked at the sides, and a long black horn sticking from her, Heavy could tell it was a mare, forehead.
Heavy took note of the uncanny resemblence the statue and the mare had, putting two-and-two together and realizing they must be the same.
But there was something different about this mare. He took note of her face, which bore not an evil, bloodthirsty look, but a sad, almost humanlike expression. She also seemed to not try and plot over taking over the Earth, but simply to sulk before the statue. Heavy's face scrunched up in confusion. Was this mare sorry for whatever it is that she did? It was quite possible, but still, Heavy wanted a brawl, and this mare looked like she was the perfect challenge.
Heavy lifted up his minigun and started to walk his way towards her, when the mare did the one thing Heavy would never had imagined:
She spoke.
"Heavy Weapons Guy."
Heavy stopped, his jaw dropped in shock. How did she know his name?
"We can read thoughts. Thou is no different."
Heavy could only stare in amazement. She could read thoughts? But who was she? And why was she talking like that?
"We are the one known here as Princess Luna, and it is the Canterlot way to talk like this, and to address ourselves as two."
Heavy stared for a moment longer, before his face tightened in challenge. So this mare could read thoughts. That would be quite difficult for him to handle, but it made the hopeful battle all the more easier.
"We know thou wishes for battle. We need the challenge. The need for venting out our problems. Thus we accept thou's challenge."
Luna stood up, before she hovered up into the air, spreading out her wings as thunder clouds gathered behind her.
"We shall warn thou, we are not one to defeat easily."
Heavy grinned. Finally a real opponent!
Finally he spoke.
"NOW IS COWARD KILLING TIME!!!"
Luna smirked.
"As though would say it, bring it on."
Heavy immediatly fired off his minigun, the first few bullets striking Luna in the chest and brining out trickles of blood. Luna commanded the clouds to fire off bolts of lightning, zapping Heavy and sending him tumbling. Heavy managed to get to his feet before he charged forward, firing his minigun again, but this time Luna used her magic to create a shield in front of herself, blocking off the bullets. Luna then caught Heavy with her telekinesis before she flung him into a tree.
Heavy stood up, growling in anger as he whipped around and fired his minigun again, the bullets imbedding themselves into Luna's legs and flanks and brining out a grunt of pain from the alicorn. Luna then teleported in fron of Heavy before she backhanded him with suprising force, sending him stumbling back and allowing her to whip around, bucking the minigun right out of Heavy's hands, the gun landing on the ground about 10 feet away.
"Sasha, no!!!"
Heavy turned bavk towards Luna, eyes burning with rage.
"YOU TOUCHED MY GUN!!!"
Heacy then ran up to her and swung his right fist up, striking her in the chin and throwing her head back, allowing Heavy to grab her head before he swung her down and smashed his knee into her face, blooding her nose and causing her to stumble back in pain.
Despite the short but brutal beating, Luna still smiled.
"We have underestimated thou. But now the fun really begins!"
Luna's horn glowed bright blue, before she fired a powerful blast of magic, striking Heavy square in the chest and sending him flying backwards and plowing right through a tree. Heavy coughed a little, before he pushed himself back onto his feet. Heavy then charged at Luna, swinging a left hook at her, only for the pony to teleport out of his way, causing the Russian to stumble forward. Luna reappeared behind Heavy before she bucked him hard in the back, sending him flying forward and slamming headfirst into a tree.
Heavy placed a hand on his head in pain, finding it hard to concentrate due to the fact that he was slowly loosing focus. Heavy refused to give in, though, as he pushed himself back to his feet and glared at Luna.
Heavy then put on a pair of boxing gloves that seemingly appeared out of nowhere, before he grinned at Luna.
"Put up fists."
Luna smiled herself.
"If it is melee thou wants, thou shall get."
Luna galloped forward, punching Heavy in the gut, knocking the wind right out of him and causing him to double over. Luna then uppercut Heavy, sending him stumbling backwards. Heavy then swung his fists, sandwiching Luna's head between his fists. Luna stumbled, allowing Heavy to punch her hard between the eyes, knocking her over. Heavy then stomped on her throat until Luna managed to roll out of the way. Luna then got behind Heavy, grabbing his arms and pinning them behind his back. Luna then whispered into his ear:
"I always admired your status, Heavy."
Heavy felt his face grow hot, but he soon shook it off as he managed to pull free before he spun around, decking her across the face. Luna ignored the pain as she threw back Heavy with her magic before she caught him in her telekinesis, flinging him into another tree.
Heavy groaned, feeling his strength leaving him. Staggering to his feet, Heavy shook his head as he prepared for one last attack.
Luna flew at Heavy, seemingly ready to impale him, and for a brief moment, Heavy could've sworn she had the same evil look as the statue did, before he brought his hand forward, pointing it like a gun.
"POW, HAHA!!!"
Luna was sent flying back by the invisible attack, slamming into the statue. Luna shook her head, clearly suprised by that last attack before she sent a ball of magic above Heavy, the orb exploding into a flash with sapped Heavy of his strength. Heavy collapsed onto his hands and knees, unable to fight any longer.
Just then he felt a comforting hoof on his shoulder. Looking up, he saw Luna standing before him, a helpful smile on her face before she lifted him to his feet.
"I am impressed, Heavy. Nopony, or in your case, no human has ever fought me and lasted for so long."
Heavy blinked in confusion.
"Why do you talk normally now?"
"I don't actually talk the old Canterlot way that much now, after a little lesson from my sister. I have to say, Heavy, I never thought I could meet anyobe like this."
Luna levitated Heavy's minigun to Heavy, who happily accepted it.
"We must meet together like this, human."
"Yes we should."
"Oh, and one more thing."
Before Heavy could ask, Luna kissed him right on the lips. Heavy blushed bright red, even as she pulled back, a playful grin on her face.
"Same place?"
Heavy then smiled.
"Yes."

Match 4: 1964 Godzilla vs Gwangi
Gwangi was loling across Seattle, turning buildings into popcorn, making the ocean randomly spit out sharks, and having those sharks act like the classes of Team Fortress 2. Gwangi laughed at it all as he sat on a throne made of Sandviches and pies rained from the sky around him.
Holding his hand up, Gwangi suddenly had a glass in his claws before he filled it up with pies.
"Chaos is a wonderful, WONDERFUL, thing."
Gwangi expected somepony to say "Not as wonderful as friendship." as he prepared to drink it, but to his suprise, a familiar roar filled the air as Godzilla stomped his way towards him.
*sigh*"This again?"
Gwangi then drank the glass, before he flung the pies at Godzilla, exploding in his face and sending him flying back. Godzilla got to his feet as he fired an Atomic Ray from his maw, striking Gwangi and flinging him off the Sandvich throne, which burned up from the heat.
Gwangi charged at Godzilla, putting on a pair of boxing gloves before he slapped away at Godzilla.
"I'm gonna knock you out!" BOOM! "Mama said knock you out!" BAM! "I'm gonna knock you out!" SMACK! "Mama said knock you out!" POW!
Godzilla roared angrily before he caught the fists before he yanked Gwangi towards him and skull-bashed him, sending him stumbling back.
"Pootis Dispenser here."
Gwangi grabbed a dispenser and hit Godzilla in the head with it, knocking him down before Gwangi slithered up next to him.
"Bug."
Gwangi raised his foot up before he slammed it down onto Godzilla's face again and again. Having enough of this, Godzilla grabbed Gwangi's leg before he flung him into a popcorn building. Goji64 then fired Atomic Rays from his hands, striking Gwangi right in the chest and sending him flying through several more popcorn buildings. Goji64 then jumped up into the air before he bodyslammed Gwangi, crushing him beneath his weight.
"Nyet!"
Gwangi slapped Godzilla off of him before he got on top of Goji64.
"My fists! THEY ARE MADE OF STEEL, ARE THEY NOT?!?"
Gwangi then beat away at Godzilla's face, blooding and bruising it, though his regeneration healed up the damage just as quickly. Godzilla released a Nuclear Pulse, sending the purple monstrosity flying into the ocean.
Gwangi emerged out of the water, only to receive a fist to the face. And another. And another one after that. Goji64 continued to beat away at Gwangi until the Dinosaur-Barney lovechild Lizard-Punched Godzilla right in the groin, sending the Kaiju King flying into the air as he howled in agony.
Godzilla slammed into the Earth, leaving a crater in his shape. Godzilla rose to see Gwangi skipping merrily across the ocean's surface towards him. Godzilla felt his anger grow as Gwangi came closer, until, with a bellow of absolute rage, he grabbed Gwangi's throat and threw him into a popcorn building. Goji64 then grabbed Gwangi's tail before tearing it clean off, blood spraying out of the stump. Godzilla then fired Atomic Rays out of his hands, tail, and mouth, tearing holes into Gwangi and sending him flying away.
Gwangi slithered to his feet as Demon Resident Mine Cart started playing before he went Ubercharge, glowing blood red as he cracked his neck around.
"Hit me. I DARE you."
The two reptiles slammed into each other, punching, kicking, clawing, blasting away at each other with everything they had. The fight soon went across the ocean, neither side winning nor loosing.
Godzilla grabbed Gwangi's torso before he pile-drove him underwater, smashing his head into an underwater mountain. Gwangi grabbed Godzilla before he punted the Godzilla, sending him flying through the seawater.
The two kaiju stared at each other with an unparalled hate. Godzilla's spines glowed a crimson red, while Gwangi's head started to enlarge.
Godzilla unleashed a mighty roar which echoed across the planet before he unleashed his Hyper Spiral Beam, the scarlet beam tearing like hell towards Gwangi...
"IMMA FIRIN MAH LAZAH!!! BLAAARGGGH!!!"
The two megabeams slammed into each other, creating a massive explosion that engulfed the two, the explosion evaporating the part of the ocean they were in, before going out and obliterating Seatlle and the surrounding country, digging a hole deep enough to reach the core of the planet.
Godzilla slowly came to. Looking up, he saw with horror the damage that had been done. Almost nothing was left.
Not even Gwangi.
The Godzilla looked around for Gwangi, but he was nowhere to be found.
Then...
Hello, Godzilla. This is Gwangi talking inside your head. Freaky, isn't it? I gotta get a new hobby. Anyway, I enjoyed our little battles. I would wish to challenge you again, but I'm one to go across dimensions. So don't expect me to be in your world. We will meet again, and trust me, it won't be pretty. Later.
Godzilla stood in thought for a moment, before he growled in determination. The guardians of this world would rebuild the damage done.
Until then, Godzilla would be waiting for Gwangi.
Draw.

Match 5: Godzilla 2001 vs Destoroyah vs FW Monsters
Godzilla fired a Spiral Beam, blasting a hole in Destroyah's chest, yet the living Oxygen Destroyer paid no attention as he fired a Micro-Oxygen beam, striking Godzilla in the neck and flooring him as he howled in pain. BG rolled to his feet as he punched Destroyah in the face as much and fast as possible until Destroyah stabbed his claws into BG's stomach, resulting in getting his hand burned by the great heat. BG then fired a Spiral Beam point-blank into Destroyah's face, blowing apart part of the left side of his face. Destroyah's horn glowed orange before he sliced his Horn Katana across BG's chest, the nuclear bomb screaming out as a milky white substance formed, preventing the wound from healing.
Destroyah stomped down on Godzilla's throat, slowly crushing the neck bones as Godzilla struggled wildly.
Suddenly the roars of other monsters were heard. Destroyah turned to see Anguirus, King Ceaser, Rodan, and Kamacuras all charging at the two. Anguirus curled up before he Thundrballed towards, Destroyah, striking him in the chest and pushing him away from Godzilla. Destroyah fired his MO beam, striking the anklyosaur in the back, dissolving away at his shell as Anguirus unfurled, wailing in pain as King Ceaser jumped up and roundhouse-kicked Destroyah's face, jerking his head to the right. Destroyah caught the leg before he swung him around into Rodan, knocking both down. Kamacuras flew at Destroyah, but the crustacean just backhanded the mantis, sending the insect slamming into a building and splattering apart on impact.
Anguirus soon rose to his feet, only to get a Spiral Beam to the face, vaporising a majority of his body as Godzilla rose to his feet. Zilla, Ebirah, Hedorah, and Kumonga all charged at the Kaiju King. BG simply fired a supercharged heat ray, atomizing Kumonga and Ebirah as Zilla leapt onto Godzilla, only to scream in pain and leap off as his limbs caught of fire. Hedorah tried smothering BG, but found himself drying up on contact. BG then grabbed Hedorah, holding on tightly as the Smog Monster tried breaking free, but soon crumbled up into dust. Zilla tried charging, but BG fired an uncharged heat ray, burning him to ashes.
Destroyah stomped on Rodan's head, crushing his skull as King Ceaser tried charging at him, only for Destroyah to lash out with his Horn Katana, cleaving the golem's body in two as both halves fell on either side of Destroyah. Gigan landed in front of Destroyah before he fired his Cluster Beam, the energies exploding around Destroyah as the Micro-Oxygen beast fired an MO ray, striking Gigan in his neck and sending the cyborg flying backwards. Monster X landed down behind Destroyah before he fired his Gravity Bolts, striking Destroyah in the back and blowing off chunks of armor. Destroyah turned to face Monster X, only to receive a backhand and a tail-whip to the face, sending him stumbling backwards as Monster X punched him in the face and chest repeatedly. Destroyah roared in outrage as he swiped his Horn Katana across Monster X's chest, sending the skeletal warrior stumbling backwards.
Godzilla fired a heat ray, striking Gigan in the side and blowing in a huge hole, toppling the cyborg as BG roared into the night sky. Suddenly, a roar similiar to his own echoed, before FW Godzilla charged, firing his Atomic Ray, striking Godzilla in the chest and sending him crashing into a building. BG roared as he fired a Spiral Beam, scorching FW Godzilla's face and toppling him with a roar of pain. Gigan fired his boomerang discs at BG, only for them to burn up. BG fired a Spiral Beam, vaporising the entire upper body of Gigan before FW Godzilla grabbed BG before he flung him into a building. BG got up before he fired a heat ray, only for FW Godzilla to counter it with an Atomic Ray, the collision creating an explosion which knocked both Godzillas down.
Manda coiled around Destroyah's leg, squeezing tightly until Destroyah grabbed him and snapped his neck, killing him instantly as Monster X jumped at him, only to recieve a Micro-Oxygen beam to the face, sending him crashing into a building as Destroyah walked towards him. Monster X got up as he fired more Gravity Bolts, blowing open several more holes in Destroyah's frame. The crustacean howled in fury before he punched Monster X to the ground, stomping on him repeatedly until he grabbed Monster X with his tail and flung him into a building.
FW Godzilla charged at Godzilla, only to receive a tail to the face, knocking him down as BG grabbed him by his throat, squeezing tightly as FW Godzilla kicked him in the face repeatedly, but to no avail as BG tossed him into a building. FW Godzilla managed to get up before he charged at BG again, the two Godzillas punching and kicking away at each other until BG managed to shove FW Godzilla into a building. BG then grabbed FW Godzilla before he tossed him into the air, firing a Spiral Beam and striking FW Godzilla dead-on, sending him flying into the ocean.
Monster X fired his Gravity Bolts into Destroyah's foot, making him back off as Monster X rose to his feet. Before he could make another move, a Spiral Beam slammed into his skull, atomizing it as Destroyah turned only to get an Uber Spiral Beam in the face. Then another. And another. Burning Godzilla kept blasting away at Destroyah, blowing off entire pieces of Destroyah. Destroyah tried to fly, but his wings have been atomized. With one final howl, Destroyah's upper body was obliterated by a Hyper Spiral Beam.
Godzilla roared in victory, and soon relief as his body was cooling down from giving off so much energy. Growling, Godzilla made his way into the ocean, swimming past the unconcious FW Godzilla.
Winner: Godzilla

Match 6: Vagineer vs M.O.G.U.E.R.A
M.O.G.U.E.R.A stood at the edge of San Fransico, ready to take out the threat that was found to have been heading in the city's direction. No one had any idea what the threat was, but they were ready for anything.
Well, ready for anything except what they faced.
Soon, after half an hour, M.O.G.U.E.R.A's sensors detected a large shape. The robot went into defensive mode as the threat it was sent to face appeared...
...and it was hideous.
It looked like a human... that is, if one could tell it what human. It wore blue overalls and a blue shirt. It had a glove on it's right hand, with goggles making it's eyes like that of a shark's. But what was most disturbing was the fact that it's mouth was open unnaturally wide, opening in a vertical position, slit-shaped, with the lower jaw going down to reach it's chest.
Then it spoke.
"yddub, ereh kool, yeh. Vagineer a m'I. smelborp evlos I sneam tahT."
Vagineer then made a slitting throat act with his thumb, before he got into a fighting stance. M.O.G.U.E.R.A went into combat mode as it readyed for battle.
Vagineer immediatly grabbed M.O.G.U.E.R.A before he flung it into a building. The robot pushed itself back up before it fired optic blasts, striking Vagineer in the mouth, but if the attack hurt him, he definatly wasn't showing it. Vagineer then fired off his fist, striking M.O.G.U.E.R.A square in the chest, sending the mech flipping through the air. M.O.G.U.E.R.A managed to activate it's thrusters, getting back onto it's feet as it saw that Vagineer's hand had long regrown. M.O.G.U.E.R.A then fired off a pair of Spiral Grenade Missiles, plowing into Vagineer's chest and sending him flying into a building.
Vagineer sprung right back up with no visible damage, before he jumped forward and punched M.O.G.U.E.R.A in the face, flooring the mech as Vagineer stomped down on the robot's chest.
"gnippird-krop, ahctoG."
M.O.G.U.E.R.A fired a pair of azure beams from it's cone hands, striking Vagineer in the face and causing him to jump back in suprise. M.O.G.U.E.R.A pushed itself back up before it fired a maser beam from it's chest cannon, striking Vagineer in the chest and sending him crashing through several buildings. Vagineer got right back up before he extended out his arm, grabbing M.O.G.U.E.R.A by the head before he swung it around, plowing the machine through several rows of buildings. M.O.G.U.E.R.A quickly activated it's jets, taking off into the air before it bombarded Vagineer with optic blasts, hand beams, maser cannons, and Spiral Grenade Missiles, the heavy assault sending the alien mutant flying away, tumbling across the ground before rolling to a stop.
Vagineer jumped up after M.O.G.U.E.R.A, enlarging his head before he skull-bashed M.O.G.U.E.R.A hard, sending the robot crashing down into the ground, most of it's lower body imbedded. Vagineer landed down in front of the robot. M.O.G.U.E.R.A quickly fired several more optic blasts and cone beams, but Vagineer took little notice of this as he grabbed M.O.G.U.E.R.A's arms before tearing them clean off, sparks spraying out of the stumps. M.O.G.U.E.R.A activated it's drill nose before it stabbed the drill into Vagineer's shoulder, tearing in a hole big enough for it to fire it's optic beams into, tearing the hole bigger, though it was in vain as the wound sealed back up.
"yob, yalpsid das a s'ereht tahT."
Vagineer grabbed the drill before he merely plucked it off, M.O.G.U.E.R.A struggling hard to try and fly out, but it's jets had been crushed beyond use. Knowing it had failed it's mission, M.O.G.U.E.R.A fired one last spray of optic blasts into Vagineer's mouth.
"ylgu re'ouy ?gniht rehtona dnA"
Vagineer grabbed M.O.G.U.E.R.A's head before he tore it right off, crushing the head in his hand before he tossed the scrap metal aside as he raised his hands into the air.
"wah-eeeeeY!!!"
Vagineer then looked back at the city, seeing the humans frozen in terror.
"sekacnroc, ahctoG."
Winner: Vagineer

Match 7: Gezora vs Dic Soupcan vs Dagahra
Gezora emerged from the waters of Hawaii, seawater rolling off his slimey skin as he slithered onto shore, snatching up any humans nearby and stuffing them into his beak.
Suddenly, Gezora came upon an odd site: Dic Soupcan lay asleep on a wooden crate, a bottle of Scrumpy in his hand. Curious, but hungry, Gezora wrapped a tentacle around the bottle and tried to eat it, only to fight not just the bland taste of glass, but the disgusting taste of alchohol. Dic Soupcan, in his sleeping state, raised his hand to his mouth for his Scrumpy, only to find that it was not in his hand. Looking up, Dic Soupcan saw that Gezora had it in his beak.
"NO! That's my Scrumpy!!"
Gezora looked at Dic Soupcan curiously, unable to understand what he was saying, merely letting out a chirp in response. Dic Soupcan laughed at this before he vomited a stream of bile, striking Gezora square between the eyes and sending him sliding backwards. Immediatly understanding Dic Soupcan's desire to battle, Gezora raised up his tentacles, ready to make a meal out of the Scottish drunk.
Dic Soupcan charged, but Gezora wrapped two of his tentacles around Dic Soupcan's arms before he swung him around and tossed him into the water. The drunkard got up before he burped a grenade at Gezora, the bomb exploded against him and knocking him down with a cry of pain. Dic Soupcan then charged at Gezora, wielding a plank with a sharp rock sticking out of it. Gezora quickly wrapped a tentacle around Dic Soupcan's leg before he yanked hard, flipping the 'human' onto his back.
Dic Soupcan struck Gezora's mantle with his spiked plank, getting out a screech of pain before the massive cuttlefish slapped Dic Soupcan hard across the face with his tentacle, the serrated suckers shredding open the TF2 Freak's face. Dic Soupcan stumbled back, howling in pain, before he threw the plank at Gezora, stabbing it into his mantle and brining out a shrill cry of pain from the mollusk.
Before Dic Soupcan could move in for the kill, a lavender beam tore into his back, brining out a scream of pain as the Scottish man turned to face the source.
Dagahra emerged out from the water, his Barem turning the H2O a crimson red. Dagahra roared before he fired another Irabushan Beam, raking the energies across Gezora's face and sending him tumbling with a shriek of agony.
Dic Soupcan jumped on top of Dagahra before he struck him hard in the head with an empty beer bottle repeatedly. Dagahra merely shook him off before he turned and shot an orb of Barem at Dic Soupcan, the ball exploding in his face and covering the left side of his face with the acidic starfish. The Scottish freak screamed in total agony as his face was burning like nothing he had ever felt. The Barem were also sapping him of his energy.
"FIRE, FIRE, FIRE!!! I'M BURNING HERE!!!"
During that time, Gezora managed to wrap his tentacles around Dagahra's legs and wings, squeezing tightly to do any damage. However, Dagahra's thick leathery skin made the constriction ineffective, and the freezing temperatures had no effect on the dragon who could survive living in the freezing depths of the bottom of the ocean. Dagahra turned his head around, biting down on one of the tentacles as he sheared it clean off, bringing out a scream of agony from Gezora, who was sent flying into the ocean from Dagahra's Irabushan Beam, the cuttlefish's face boiled black.
Dic Soupcan burped a grenade at Dagahra, exploding against his emerald scales and getting his attention. Dic Soupcan vomited a stream of bile at Dagahra, but to his shock and disgust, Dagahra happily gulped the bile down before his shoulders grew cannons and fired twin beams, striking Dic Soupcan in the face and sending him flying backwards with a scream of pain. Dagahra walked over to the freak before he punched him hard in the stomach, causing him to vomit another stream which Dagahra drank before he bit down on Dic Soupcan's shoulder, tearing off a hunk of flesh as the drunk man screamed out hoarsely.
Dic Soupcan tried burping another grenade, but before he could, Dagahra fired an Irabushan Beam down Dic Soupcan's throat, striking the grenade and causing it to explode prematuraly, blowing apart Dic Soupcan's head, torso, and arms.
Dagahra merely snorted at the remains of Dic Soupcan, before he walked back into the ocean to feed on more pollution.
Winner: Dagahra

Match 8: Gorosaurus vs Spacegodzilla
As Spacegodzilla flew through the air, his body glowed with power. Circling above Osaka, the crystal tyrant slammed into the ground, throwing up a wave of dirt. Several giant crystals sprouted from the ground, feeding their master with power. Spacegodzilla let out a roar, challenging any that may stand in his way.
However, there was one who defied him.
A loud roar took Spacegodzilla by suprise. Turning around, Spacegodzilla spotted Gorosaurus charging at him. Gorosaurus roared once more, demanding that Spacegodzilla leave immediatly. The space clone merely growled before firing a Corona Beam, the scarlet energy carving open Gorosaurus' chest. The dinosaur howled as he stumbled back, only to snarl angrily and charge again. Spacegodzilla fired several more Corona Beams, all of them ripping open the carcharodontosaur's flesh, yet he kept going until he slammed his skull into Spacegodzilla's chest, causing him to stumble back, shrieking in suprise. Gorosaurus then bit down on Spacegodzilla's left arm, shaking his head wildly as the Godzilla clone howled in pain. Furious, Spacegodzilla sent energy from his hand into Gorosaurus' mouth, charring the inside as Gorosaurus released his grip, howling painfully. Spacegodzilla then summoned green energy bolts from his shoulder crystals, catching Gorosaurus in his Gravity Tornadoe before he flung him into a building.
Gorosaurus roared angrily as he emerged from the rubble and charged at Spacegodzilla. The crystal tyrant shot a pair of crystal missiles, both of which struck Gorosaurus in the chest. The theropod staggered, but only for a moment before he jumped forward and swung his tail around, smashing the limb into the clone's face and flooring him instantly. Gorosaurus then bit down on Spacegodzilla's leg, picking him up and swinging him around again and again before tossing him into a building.
Spacegodzilla groaned as he stood up, only to receive a headbutt, knocking him back dow. Gorosaurus stomped down on Spacegodzilla's chest, only to gain a flurry of Corona Beams in return. Gorosaurus stumbled back, howling in pain. Spacegodzilla lashed out with his tail, stabbing the tip into Gorosaurus' chest. Spacegodzilla then procedded to pump Gorosaurus full of energy, causing him to cry out in pain as he struggled wildly. Spacegodzilla then flung Gorosaurus aside, sending the theropod tumbling across the ground.
Spacegodzilla turned back to his crystals, only to receive a kangaroo-kick to the back, flooring him instantly as Gorosaurus bit down on Spacegodzilla's tail before he swung him into a building. Spacegodzilla rose from the rubble, howling in fury as he flew at Gorosaurus, who leaned back on his tail, lashing out with a kangaroo-kick and caving in Spacegodzilla's chest, sending him flying back and crashing into a building. Spacegodzilla puked out blood as he struggled to rise, only to see Gorosaurus standing before him. The Godzilla clone could only cry out in terror before Gorosaurus bit down on Spacegodzilla's neck, applying more and more pressure as Spacegodzilla's neck bones were crushed and grinded. Gorosaurus squeezed harder, the pressure mounting from the bite eventually causing Spacegodzilla's head to burst like a zit, sending blood, bone fragments, and brain matter splattering everywhere.
Gorosaurus simply snorted before he reared his head back and roared in victory, having saved humanity once more.
Winner: Gorosaurus

Match 9: Dogora vs. Colossal Titan
He stands idly by in the darkened hull of the Boeing C-17 Globemaster III, a large military transport aircraft developed by the United States. He carries the weight upon him; the parachute strapped to his back, the heavy load of the uniform weighing on his aged body, the oxygen mask, goggles, and helmet pressing against his face and head, the burden of humanity’s dying hopes on his mind.
The dark room glows with the hue of a red alarm light, with the blare to accompany it. The loud whirs of the hatch lowering, combined with the gushing high-altitude winds, deafen the wails from within. He stands there, seeing the sky from nearly over twenty-thousand feet above the surface. The shimmering sunlight bathes the swirling vortex of clouds beneath them, crackling with a spastic array of lightning bolts. He knew full well that under the clouds lie the Rocky Mountains, in the upper regions of Canada. But his target wasn’t in the rugged terrain—rather, it was several thousand feet above, dwelling in the fluffy sheets of liquid droplets and frozen crystals.
A yellow light bulb flashed, signaling him for the HAHO jump. With no hesitation, Kubal dashed to embrace the empty space and icy chill of the higher altitudes. In an instant, gravity began to take hold, dragging him to the clouds below.
The drag pushes against his freefalling form, now a couple thousand feet clear out of the C-17’s flight path. For a HAHO jump, closing in on top of the clouds would serve him enough to get where he needs to go. Fumbling for the ripcord, he pulls it, unloading the parachute with no hindrance. The force yanks at him, but it doesn’t take long for it to stabilize. Only in a matter of minutes, he will be facing one of his greatest challenges, as a soldier of human preservation.
Gently gliding down, his footwear grazes the puffy vapor. Kubal knew full well of the electrical hazard from the thunderstorm booming beneath. But that was the least of his concerns.
Dogora…
In the weeks that passed, all hell broke loose. Humanity mourned for their lost guardian, the last heir of Mothra, who perished by the hands of the Dogoras. As one drifted closer to Taiwan, the other carried itself over the Pacific Ocean. The small Pacific islands in the wake of the second Dogora’s path were consumed, added to part of its mass. Unlike their predecessor, these ones have adapted to consume more than just carbon minerals. Additionally, according to Intel reports, they are now going out of their way to devour all organic life in their way.
Now that the second one has crossed over North American borders, its first victims were on Vancouver Island. By the time the powers that be formulated a means of attack, the Dogora had already ravaged Nanaimo and Vancouver, leaving no victim behind. By the time of Kubal’s departure, it had already devastated Vernon, and current tracking shows it drifting close to Banff National Park.
The surface clouds began to rupture. The silhouette, shadowed by the gleaming sunlight, raises high into the purple sky.The wavering tentacle, tipped with feeler-like appendages, drops toward Kubal. With no means of utilizing the turbulence, he prepares himself for the inevitable. The mass of the limb alone is more than enough to crush a mere mortal man into bloody paste.
Without much thought, the tentacle instinctively slams on the puny lifeform, his mass crushed and absorbed into Dogora’s solvent form. The man that was Kubal is nothing more than a messy splatter of gory paste and shattered bones. It wasn’t long before Dogora’s chemical makeup began to digest its newest victim; before it knew it, Dogora would be resuming its destruction as if nothing ever happened.
Strangely, though, Dogora felt a tingling sensation run down the feeler near its hood. A reddened rash began to swell where it had consumed the man. It was something beyond Dogora’s comprehension; not once had any of its past prey ever had such a profound effect on its body. Once what was a rash quickly evolved into the equivalent to boiling gelatin, the lappet shriveling under the might of the intense heat.
On the surface of the chemically infused entity, the man began to reform. But he was stripped of his flesh and clothes, only leaving a living being of bone, muscles, organs, nerves, cartilage, and blood vessels screaming in sheer agony. The intensifying heat around the area transformed the trillions of Dogora cells into vapor in mere seconds.
The skinless Kubal quaked, when suddenly, large, bony protrusions jutted from his spine. From the pillars of bone, it unfurls like that of wings. Encasing the screaming Kubal, he is embraced by his own curse. A shimmering, bright light envelops his exposed body, rivaling that of the sun. The water vapor contained within the nearby clouds dissipates as a powerful shockwave pulsates from Kubal’s form.
An explosion of cellular multiplication creates strands of muscle, forming the shoulders and arms for this new body. Exponential heat sear into the bell, generating another shockwave like that of a beating heart. Hot air and fire scorches the alien jellyfish, tearing its body asunder.
Even so, the new body of Kubal continued to take form. Its arms fully developed, laced with burning muscles and tendons, gripping onto Dogora’s hood, pulling itself in. Afterward, the head came into formation, sewn together into an amalgamation of patches of flesh, tendons, and muscle. The man known as Kubal now rested within the bulbous nape on the back of the Titan’s neck. As strings of muscle mass fasten to create the chest, the skeleton continues to materialize. Enormous, spiked ribs drive into Dogora, spraying translucent chemicals from its abnormal body.
The Colossal Titan booms a bellowing, powerful roar. His yellow eyes shine brightly, contrast to the black sclera, glaring with malicious intent.
Dogora jerks unnaturally, trying to loosen the skinless giant. But the Colossal Titan persists, refusing to let go, even with his hands and ribs slowly eaten away by the solvent. The only reason he hasn’t already been assimilated is due to the superb regenerative power at his disposal, allowing the Colossal Titan to exert his body with tremendous heat. Dogora’s internal systems are overwhelmed by the heat and raging fire, shrinking faster than Dogora can grow. The once translucent bluish hue of the Dogora now blisters with an orange-yellow light. To ensure its survival, the space being summons small feelers to its aid, trying to severe the Colossal Titan’s hands and ribs. But alas, contact only resulted in near-immediate evaporation due to the intensity of the Titan’s exerting body temperature.
Unable to force the leech off of its body, the gelatinous lifeform tried to counteract the burning sensation with a scheme of its own. Opening its mantle, Dogora vacuums the thunder clouds in an effort to cool down its body. But even the mass consumption of water vapor and ice crystals yield little results. The Colossal Titan, now with most of its body reconstituted except for below the kneecaps, summons his strength and forcefully shoves the extraterrestrial leviathan to aim down. If he could piledrive this freakish monstrosity into the Canadian Rocky Mountains, he would be able to deal with the target properly.
In a last-ditch effort, before even attempting to engage its foe, Dogora detaches one of its four lengthy tentacles. If it could not survive, then a piece of it will thrive and live on. Little did Dogora realize that the Colossal Titan’s heat, still very much present within the limb, had already begun to evaporate it. With no central body to process the needed nutrients to thrive, the short-lived Dogoraspawn suffered with the intense heat until it vanished completely.
To retaliate against the Titan, Dogora lifts its gigantic tendrils to its aid. Although the smaller feelers deployed earlier dissolved, the extra mass contained should be able to hold out far better. But with most of its mass evaporated, chances were uncertain. The first of the three remaining tentacles constricted the Colossal Titan’s lower abdominal region; the second slithered around the upper chest, looping itself around the left shoulder and right armpit; the third strapped itself on the calves of the Nephilim. Applying all of its strength, Dogora squeezed the burning giant. The compression forced superheated air and blood to jettison out of its wounds. The Colossal Titan boomed an echoing holler, but tried to keep steadfast. They broke out of the puffy thunderclouds some time ago. Now it was a matter of whether he would survive the fall—or if Dogora would.
Kubal’s instincts screamed at him to protect the bulbous nape. The slithering tentacle, had it been aware of this mortal weakness, could be a very real threat. But so long as it paid no heed, Kubal wouldn’t need to worry. Using the Colossal Titan’s raw strength, the cursed man opened its maw as wide as it would allow, only being kept together by the tendon-like flesh masking part of its frontal jaws. Clamping down with molar teeth and incisors, the colossus tore the superheated gelatin from Dogora’s body, imprisoning the piece of alien flesh. From between his closed maw, the Titan’s mouth flashed a brilliant orange and pink steam poured out. Upon splitting the maxilla and mandible, the living cells that once were became nothing more than primordial soup. Any scars or corrosion left from the small quantities of acidity were gone in an instant.
Although the laced tentacles dug into the body of the Colossal Titan, it came at a cost. Prolonged exposure to the heat has long since stripped Dogora of the mass it had before this fateful encounter. The bell-shaped form, once nearly dwarfing the gigantic man by nearly twice his total size, was now nearly a pinch larger than the giant. And much to its dismay, if it could feel, the Colossal Titan bordered completion with its body as the last strands of muscle and tendons encased the skeletal foot. With regeneration outpacing Dogora’s acidity, the Colossal Titan recovered from all wounds sustained during their drop. Dogora could now only leave it to chance, and hope it would survive.
Zipping past the mountain tops and into the abyssal canyons, they braced for impact. The first to touchdown was Dogora; its suffering cells splattered against the deep crevice and let loose an uncontained burst of fire and steam.
But that was mere child’s play to what came next.
A split second after impact, the mass of the Colossal Titan slammed into the rugged terrain. With the power of a small nuclear warhead, an enormous flash of brilliant white light and pink geysers jettisoned out of the hole. Any nearby boulders and firmly planted trees were uprooted as a cascade of hot air enraptured the mountain sides. The soft snowcaps melted, and the water that came careening turned into vapor soon after. Any witnesses, although they could not see what has transpired, most certainly heard and felt the sonic vibrations from the ensuing explosion.
And for a moment, humanity did not know if it could exhale a sigh of relief.
*****
Kubal woke up.
His heavy eyes sank from the exhaustion. He had awakened from a long, restless sleep of unconsciousness. He hazily scanned his surroundings, trying to recall where he is. Between the oxygenated liquid that allowed him to breathe and the stringy strands of pink flesh-like webbing attached to his face and body, he knew full well he was still in his Titan body. He briefly noted the condition of his hands, plunged into the fleshy wall in front of him. They had rejuvenated skin. He could feel the tingling sensation of the liquid embracing his entire body. He was naked. And even knowing this, he didn’t care. He could sleep here for the rest of his immortal life and let his body merge with the monster that lied within. But now was not that time.
Lying in the impact crater was the Colossal Titan—or more precisely, what was left. Over half of its face was nothing more than a bleach-white skull with hollow eye sockets. The other half contained the muscle strands and the fleshy tendons, barely hanging on by threads. Planted on its chest and belly, the exposed back was contorted in strange and twisted positions, including the skeletal shoulder blades ripping out of the muscles. The left arm shattered into bloody paste and ashen bone, with the blood having long since evaporated. The right was twisted backward by the elbow, missing a couple of digits. The bulky legs were also fractured and twisted abnormally, with one of the feet outright missing.
He had to get up.
The right hand twitched, almost as if one was coming back from the dead. With a sickening series of crackles, the right arm raised itself up. It then outstretches its entire arm with a disturbing, echoing snap. From there, the Titan’s body rearranged itself and regrew the lost fingers, all covered in pink steam. The shoulder blade automatically popped back into place, allowing the arm to break in more naturally.
Simultaneously, the legs also began to rearrange and repair the damages. The fractured chest also began emitting steam, indicating regeneration. And rather than reconstitute the shattered paste of an arm, the cells detached the old left arm, painstakingly creating an entirely new arm. The flesh and muscle cells on the face began to multiply, coating it with fresh cells. Before long, the skull was no longer visible to the naked eye. Then the pinkish vapors poured out of the eyeholes; it wasn’t long before the shining yellow irises and the black sclera pierced the dark night skies.
Reflecting the tiredness from its host, the Colossal Titan weakly got to its feet. Its body, once a burning orange, dimmed to conserve energy. He looked up at the night sky, clear and crisp with no clouds in sight. He wondered to himself how long it would be before his next encounter with the other Dogora, still at large. But it mattered not. With his naked body, Kubal was ill-equipped to deal with nature. In the meantime, keeping cozy in the Colossal Titan would have to suffice.
The Titan unconsciously let slip a gentle moan, admiring the crystal clear darkness. In the period he came from, in the distant future, the world he knew was masked by clouds of pollution and deceptive political corruption. In order to maintain balance, all knowledge of Earth’s history and the government’s failures had to be kept erased from the public conscious. For Kubal, it was paradise to thrive off the spoils of wealth and power. It was why, in his time, he devised the Titan War which brought down the Outer Wall; so that the people would be ruled by the fear in their hearts and souls.
He knew full well of the deep rooted corruption of this day and age. It was no different than his time, really. Proof goes to show that the human animal will never seek the truth to its mistakes. Humanity, by proxy, is about conflict. And because of this, nature seeks to restore order by the power of natural disasters, behemoths, and leviathans.
But then, where does Dogora fit into this? A celestial being of the void traveling through the reaches of space to feed. Is it natural, or unnatural? Is it part of a greater, complex, cosmic web of nature’s order? Or is it a forbearer of something much worse yet to come?
It is not for him to know. In the meantime, the Colossal Titan began to take long, sluggish strides to the Canadian coast, awaiting his human acquaintances. When the time is ripe, and the Dogora threat is extinguished, he will use his awesome power to destroy these byproducts of nature, and allow humanity to thrive in the perfect darkness and become like God.
So God created mankind in His own image, in the image of God He created them; male and female He created them. -Genesis 1:27
Winner: Colossal Titan

Match 10: Daigoro vs King Kong
Darkness looked over the streets of New York City. The streets should have been alive with bustling cars and people, illuminated by the vibrant glow of sleepless residents and the advertisement of shows promising performances of beauty and splendor.
Tonight, however, the city was silent.
Rows of towering skyscrapers stood tall over the empty streets, devoid of life and light. The entire population of the Big Apple evacuated in preparation for was to come. The only source of illumination came from mounted spotlights that cut through the dark, scanning for an unseen target. The streets rumbled as lines of tanks and armored jeeps rolled into position, ready to intercept their chosen quarry. Yet as the cavalcade came to a stop, the ground continued to shake. Atop each vehicle, a lone soldier tightly gripped the handle of a machine gun, numb with fear. A shout came from one of the rooftops. Their target had shown themselves.
Beams of light swung into position to illuminate a massive beast coated from head to toe in fur almost as dark as the night sky. Its body rippled as powerful muscles clenched, allowing movement of its four bulky limbs. Held in the beast’s clutches, a young blonde woman stared, transfixed on the sight of her awesome captor. The creature’s human-like eyes observed the group of vehicles below, awaiting their intentions. With a single order from their commanding officer, the military forces began their attack.
The guns atop each vehicle sprayed hot lead as their operator squeezed the trigger. Tank shells blazed out of their barrels, coating the beast’s chest with bursts of flames and black smoke.
Such inferior weaponry was hopeless in trying to deter the might of King Kong.
The ape’s mouth opened, yielding a roar that boomed like thunder. Despite the onslaught barraging him, he continued his advance. The tanks and jeeps pressed on with their attack, despite knowing full well they could not stop Kong. One of the rooftop scouts took note of the massive ape’s hostage and reported it back to command. Moments later, the ground troops received the order to cease fire, lest they harm Kong’s female prize. Kong, however, did not appreciate their mercy.
The massive ape swung his free arm out and dragged it across the top of the nearest skyscraper. The soldiers on top cried out in terror moments before their fragile bodies were crushed by Kong’s massive arm. The roof of the building was demolished, raining down huge slabs of concrete rubble onto the vehicles below. Numerous tanks and jeeps found themselves buried alive under tons of debris. Their unprotected passengers riding atop died instantly. The rest of the battalion began their retreat, recognizing Kong’s intentions. They were lucky the giant ape allowed them to escape his fury.
Now unopposed, Kong continued his march, crushing concrete debris and trapped tanks and jeeps beneath his mammoth feet. Within minutes, he had arrived at his destination. Kong craned his neck up, trying to spot the summit of the colossal structure. But not even he could locate the top of the Empire State Building through the cloud cover. That only made it more appealing to the great ape. A king deserved the highest point from which to rule, and look down upon his kingdom and subjects. And he was the mightiest king of all. He reached out to grasp the skyscraper’s exterior...
...And was stopped by another gigantic fist.
Kong’s eyes widened in surprise. He rotated his head to face the one who would deny him his throne and was met with another fist that socked him in the face. Kong fell backward, annihilating the street beneath him. His face ached and his vision was blurred, but the King of Faro Island would not allow this attack to go unpunished. He quickly pulled himself up, locking eyes with the strange creature before him. Its earth-colored body was round and bloated, its flesh mammalian like his. Its arms were bumpy, segmented into sections, and ended in a pair of gargantuan fists that rivalled Kong’s own. Its legs were built the same way, but bulged with strong muscles. Three pairs of whiskers poked out of its hippopotamus-like visage. A set of tiny ears adorned its head. In Kong’s eyes, the beast looked absolutely ridiculous. Yet its eyes shone with an intelligence much like his own, and burned with a fierce determination.
Long ago, this creature had been lost and alone, saved only by the kindness of humans. Despite his clumsiness and child-like personality, he fought hard and well when the time came. With intense training, and the assistance of those who believed in him, he had beaten the mighty Goliath. But time had passed since then, and he now found himself alone once more. Desperate, he searched of those in need, to defend them from the less-friendlier inhabitants of this world. But humans no longer appreciated his kindness. In their eyes, he was just the same as the other monsters. But he did not give up hope. He continued on his quest, hoping to prove himself as a hero once more.
After decades of searching, Daigoro had found his calling once more.
Kong’s eyebrows lowered and his upper lip curled up in aggression, exposing his human-like teeth. He clenched his fists tightly, his knuckles making ‘cracking’ noises as their joints loosened – then realized something was missing. He raised his hands and unclenched them, finding them empty of his prize. Kong scoured the streets for the woman he was prepared to risk his life for. Then he looked up, and growled in fury when he saw her in Daigoro’s grasp. The bumpy beast gently lowered her onto the roof of a nearby skyscraper, making sure she would be spared from the coming conflict. He turned to face Kong, his eyes narrowing. He did not know what the ape’s intentions for her were, but he would not let any harm come to her or allow Kong to wreak havoc on the city.
Daigoro expelled a furious roar, raising his arms and waving them wildly. Kong was not impressed by the creature’s attempts to intimidate him and raised his own arms, pounding his burly fists against his muscular chest. As Daigoro cried out in challenge, Kong released his own booming cry. The deafening cries of both titans echoed across the city, letting those still present know what was about to transpire.
Both realized neither was going to be intimidated by the other. A conflict was inevitable.
The two behemoths broke into a spirit toward each other. The ground quaked underneath their combined titanic weight. With each step, tarmac and concrete was dislodged from the streets and rose above their ankles, only for gravity to drag it back down to the earth. King Kong and Daigoro slammed into each other hard. The entire city block trembled under their impact, shattering thousands of windows and setting off car alarms. Both beasts grappled with one another, pushing and pulling to try and force each other to the ground. They smashed into the sides of skyscrapers during their struggle, leaving ape and hippo-shaped imprints imbedded into them. Daigoro finally broke off the stalemate with a mighty shove, sending Kong staggering back. He charged forward, bashing the mighty gorilla with his bloated belly. Kong was sent crashing to the ground, roaring and flailing his limbs in fury. As Daigoro raised his foot to kick the downed ape, Kong lashed out with his own, striking the tubby monster in his shin. Daigoro staggered back as hot pain surged through his leg and reached down to nurse his injury with his massive hands.
Quickly rising to his feet, Kong approached the distracted Daigoro. He pulled his right arm back, then thrust it forward into the younger monster’s face. Daigoro stumbled back, clutching his throbbing nose. Unrelenting, Kong ploughed his other fist into the tubby monster’s gut. Daigoro squealed in pain, but was quick to recover, sandwiching Kong’s head between his fists. Dazed by the blow, Kong was slow to react as Daigoro slammed his gigantic fists against the great ape’s chest with amazing speed and strength. Daigoro’s fists were like a blur as they crashed into Kong again and again. Kong roared painfully with each strike. Before Daigoro could shatter his ribcage, Kong grabbed his arm and pulled him up. With his Herculean strength, he tossed his foe over his shoulder. The plush beast smashed into the nearest skyscraper, obliterating the towering structure. Daigoro pounded his fists against the ground in a rage and rose to face Kong again. The mighty gorilla was already waiting, and slammed his fist into Daigoro’s ugly mug, sending him reeling.
Kong lunged forward, making use of every second at his disposal. With one hand, he pulled Daigoro close and wrapped his free, brawny arm around his neck. The ape sneered as he tightened his grip around Daigoro’s neck, cruelly suffocating them. His other head repeatedly pounded Daigoro’s oversized skull with the intent of hastening the hippo beast’s demise. Daigoro thrashed about in Kong’s grasp, fighting to free himself before he succumbed to asphyxiation. Kong’s clubbing blows eventually began to take their toll, and the tubby monster’s movements began to lessen. Kong curled his upper lip up to sneer mockingly at Daigoro as the young monster’s vision slowly became a blur.
At the last possible second Daigoro brought his foot up and slammed it down onto Kong’s own. Howling a terrible cry, the stricken ape released Daigoro, letting the bumpy monster fall to the ground. Daigoro let out a wheezing noise with each breath as he tried to suck air down his bruised throat. Kong, meanwhile, lifted his sore foot up and clutched it in his hands. He hopped around on his uninjured sole, seething with anger at such a dirty trick. Daigoro managed to pull himself to his feet as Kong lowered his foot to the ground. Their eyes met, and then they charged, colliding with each other with staggering force. Their gargantuan fists crashed into each other sides as they sought to shatter their opponent’s ribs.
At that moment, military reinforcements arrived on the scene. A new platoon of tanks and mobile missile launchers screeched to a halt and targeted the two warm-blooded mammals. Caught up in their battle, Kong and Daigoro failed to notice the tanks raise their barrels and the missile launchers raise their batteries to aim at them. Shells and missiles struck their mammalian flesh and detonated, bathing them in explosions. A pair of missiles rushed out of their holding pins and exploded between the two goliath’s faces. The giant ape and hippo forgot about their conflict, separating and clutching their burning faces, hollering in pain. Daigoro was quickest to recover and gazed down upon the military masses. He sympathized with them, understanding their fear of him. He had been born into a time where most of Earth’s monsters could be considered allies of humanity. But over the years those monsters had disappeared, perished, or returned to their destructive ways. Today, people only saw his kind as harbingers of destruction, intent on demolishing everything they loved. Daigoro wished to prove them wrong. But it would take more than defeating Kong for him to win their affection.
Several apache helicopters descended into view, their on-board computers targeting Daigoro and Kong’s warm-blooded forms. Dozens of missiles left their holding pins and rocketed toward the two goliaths, detonating on contact and leaving black stains across their skin. A violent grow was emitted from Kong’s throat as the ape god charged the airborne squadron. Realizing the futility of their attack, the helicopters made their ascent. One, however, was not fast enough.
Kong’s mammoth hand reached out and grasped the helicopter. Its rotating blades crumpled like tin foil and stopped spinning. Kong raised his arm above his head. Before he could hurl the aircraft to the ground, Daigoro leapt in. His hands wrapped around Kong’s burly arm and pushed back, preventing the great ape from annihilating the helicopter and its occupants. Kong grunted negatively and tried with his free hand to knock Daigoro away. Daigoro, however, would not relent, and released the grip of his right hand to allow him to jab Kong in his unguarded throat. The gorilla fell back, choking, and surrendered his grip on the helicopter. Daigoro relinquished his hold and stuck out his open palm, catching the falling aircraft. He gently placed the damaged helicopter on top of a nearby skyscraper out of the way.
With a thundering feral cry, Kong leapt onto Daigoro’s back. The tubby monster cried out in surprise as he struggled to support Kong’s weight. He realized he could not be allowed to be pinned under the ape or he would never rise again. Instead, he allowed himself to fall backward and pinned Kong between himself and the road. Kong roared in rage and pain as Daigoro’s 8,000 ton weight came down atop him, pressing him against the tarmac. Daigoro rolled off the massive ape and stood to his full height, then brought his foot down on Kong’s head. He repeatedly stomped and grinded his heel, determined to make the ape’s head one with the tarmac. Kong couldn’t take much more, but the relentless assault prevented him of forming a solution.
Eventually, Daigoro began to tire. He lacked the energy to continue going. Kong noticed the pause in his enemy’s assault and took full advantage of this small window of opportunity. Using both hands, he grabbed Daigoro’s attacking foot and pulled him to the ground. Daigoro cried out as he hit the street with a breath-taking crash and rolled down the street. He quickly pulled himself to his feet, while the still stunned Kong struggled to rise. Already his highly intelligent mind was devising a strategy to finish off the godlike ape. His gaze met the site of Kong’s first contact with the military. Rescue teams moved aside rubble to free their trapped colleagues from their would-be metal tombs. Daigoro moved over to the mess of concrete and metal, searching for the ideal tool. Soldiers scattered as he reached down toward them, but they were not the giant’s target. Instead, Daigoro pulled out an abandoned tank from the debris. Behind him, Kong finally stood on his own two feet. He beat his fists against his chest, roaring furiously, then brought them down onto the ground. Debris dispersed from the impact site in all directions. The God of Faro Island peered up, and Daigoro’s tank made contact with his face, exploding into a plume of flames.
King Kong howled into the night and clutched his burning face. With Kong distracted, Daigoro dashed toward him. He leapt into the air, bringing both feet to bear, and slammed them into Kong’s chest. Kong could not stay standing from such an attack and flew backward. His falling mass flattened a small skyscraper.
Daigoro rose back up. Kong’s prone form was obscured by a heavy cloud of dust. No sound came, except for the settling of rubble. No movement came, asides from several crumbling slabs of concrete. Daigoro nodded approvingly. King Kong had been dealt with.
Further down the street, Kong’s blonde captive had been watching the battle unfold. Her breath caught in her throat when she saw Kong vanish under the rubble. Then, she realized Daigoro was making his way toward her. Daigoro peered down at her, making sure she was unharmed. Then, he extended his arm to pick her up. He flinched as the woman let out a terrified yelp and crawled away. Daigoro retracted his arm, failing to understand what he had done wrong. He’d saved her, saved the entire city from Kong’s rampage. Why could she not see that? He tentatively extended his arm again and reached out toward her, trying not to seem as threatening as possible. Again, she crawled away, her breath heavy as fear engulfed her. Despite possessing an almost human-like intelligence, Daigoro could not understand her fear of him. Was he missing something here?
A large chunk of concrete slammed into the back of Daigoro’s head and crumbled into thousands of pieces. Daigoro fell forward onto the skyscraper, nearly crushing the terrified woman. He regained his composure and spun around to face the attacker. The recovered Kong beat his chest in a frenzy. He bent down and picked up two tanks out of the rubble. Kong hurled them at Daigoro’s face with great strength and precision. But they never met their intended target. Instead, Daigoro raised his arms in an x-shape to catch the incoming projectiles. Both vehicles struck his bumpy arms and exploded. Flames briefly licked at Daigoro’s arms as the wreckage of the tanks fell to the ground. Daigoro lowered his arms as the fires died away and scowled at Kong. This time, he’d make sure the gorilla was dead. He charged forward to engage the ape in close quarters, sparing the woman from the conflict. Daigoro, despite his oversized belly, was agile enough to duck under Kong’s swinging fist. But now even he could avoid the ape’s other fist as it came smashing into his face.
Daigoro was thrown backward, ploughing through a skyscraper and destroying it in a second. Another skyscraper met its end at Daigoro’s flying mass. A third skyscraper finally stopped the plush monster in his path, and he came to rest, unconscious, in its remains.
Kong let out a grunt of satisfaction at Daigoro’s unmoving form. Like him, however, he did not bother to check if the monster still lived. Kong had a far more important quest at hand. The military watched with baited breath as he picked up his blonde prize. For a brief moment, their eyes stared in each other’s. Kong did not know why he was so easily captivated by the beauty of human women. Perhaps, as the last of his kind, he merely sought female companionship. Whatever the reason, he was prepared to give up everything for her. Kong brushed these thoughts aside as the military forces renewed their assault. He brought the hand holding her close to his chest to protect her and turned to face the gathered vehicles. With his free hand, he beat his chest with vigor, as he unleashed an enraged roar. He stopped pounding his chest to pick up a huge chunk of concrete, then hurled it at the congregation of tanks. Several vehicles were crushed and thrown aside as the slab skidded across the man-made street before coming to a stop. Kong used this distraction to sprint away, toward the Empire State Building.
He stopped at its base and studied its structure, determining if it was suitable to climb. He reached up, burying his fingers into its side. Steel, glass, and granite crumpled like paper in his grasp. Satisfied with his findings, King Kong began his ascent. Shells, bullets, and missiles assaulted Kong’s rapidly ascending form. The great ape was ignorant to this offensive and continued his climb undeterred. The squadron of attack helicopters was redeployed, spraying Kong’s hairy back with lead and explosions. Kong merely released a small grunt at the pain. He was determined to reach the top of the Empire State Building. He’d come so far. He wasn’t going to give up so easily. Higher and higher he climbed, out of the range of the ground troops. The air forces were able to continue their attack for a few more minutes, until the gargantuan ape eventually ascended too high for them to follow. Those in command were infuriated at the ape’s tactics, and decided to call in the Air Force.
Meters away, in the streets below, Daigoro returned to consciousness. He managed to sit up, groaning softly as he tried to clear his head. The military forces that had gathered backed away as the giant bumpy beast got up. Daigoro stared down at them, and they stared right back. An eternity seemed to pass as the soldiers kept their gaze locked with Daigoro’s, both sides waiting for the other to make their move. It was Daigoro who broke off this tense staring contest, scouring the city in search of King Kong. As he saw the imprints left in the side of the Empire State Building, Daigoro knew where the ape had gone, and started toward the structure. Dozens of military vehicles barred his path to the building. Daigoro carefully maneuvered through them, making sure not to step on any of them. Drivers moved their vehicles out of the way as his feet came down, unintentionally clearing a path for him. Seeing as the plush monster was making no move to attack them, military command ordered the troops to clear a path for him. Daigoro came to a halt as the vehicles moved out of his way, looking from side to side to keep an eye on the retreating forces. After a moment of waiting, Daigoro realized they weren’t going to attack. They were clearing the way for him. The young monster nodded in thanks, and resumed his march.
Daigoro reared his head back to try and spot the building’s summit, and Kong too, but was unable to see past its foggy barrier. Kong was a much better climber than he was, and had probably already made it to the top. Daigoro hesitated, refusing to climb and give chase. He had a fear of heights, and his bulky hands and extended belly made him unsuited for climbing. If he fell, he may not survive the drop. But Daigoro clenched his fists, his eyes burning with passion as they narrowed. There was no time to focus on his fears. A human life was in danger, and only he could save her. Daigoro wanted to be a hero, and a hero always put the people before themselves. He grabbed onto the building, using the imprints Kong had left as hand and footholds, and slowly began to climb.
The wind blew fiercely against Kong’s face as he reached the top, parting the fur of his face and head to reveal the tan flesh underneath. Gently, he placed his prize inside an open window of the observatory. Then, he reared up to his full height. His hand grabbed the antenna, supporting himself, as he looked over the city below. To an already huge creature like Kong, the buildings below had never looked smaller. Under different circumstances, he would have seen the city actually alive, lit up like a Christmas tree, and called it beautiful. Instead, all he saw was a land shrouded in shadows. In the distance, the Sun began its rise over the horizon, casting its orange-red glow and warmth over the ocean’s surface. Kong has seen this phenomenon many times, back on Faro Island, from his mountain lair. Yet, from his new ‘throne’ overlooking the city, it seemed to be more beautiful than ever. For a moment, Kong was at peace, and then, it was shattered. An unfamiliar sound assaulted Kong’s ears, and the massive ape turned to face the source as it grew louder. Several fighter jets zoomed in, ready for combat.
Kong threw his arms into the air and shook them around without care or reason, as he simultaneously released a deafening cry of challenge. The jets wasted no time in accepting. The pilot squeezed their triggers, blasting the gorilla’s hide full of bullets. Small fountains of blood erupted all across Kong’s form. With a press of a button, three of the jets jettisoned their missiles. They struck Kong hard, the giant ape roaring in pain and rage as he fought to keep his balance, fire and smoke rising upward. With his highly developed brain, Kong correctly deduced the jets were circling back around. He roared again as he pounded his fists against his chest. Once again, blood and explosions bathed his chest as the jets unleashed their arsenals. This time, Kong was prepared, and swung his massive forearm out. One of the jets, foolishly flying into the ape’s range, crumbled like a toy as Kong’s fist smashed into it. It fell like a rock to the ground below. The jets came by again for another attempt, bringing with them more pain for the giant gorilla. Amidst the carnage, Kong thrust out his hand, catching a jet mid-flight. Not wishing to be crushed, the pilot ejected from the cockpit and activated the parachute in his chair. Now Kong had a weapon to use. The jets maneuvered themselves for another assault. Kong tossed his jet at the group as they approached. It collided with another, destroying both aircraft in a ball of fire.
As Kong battled with his aerial foes, he became aware that the structure he stood on was shaking. The sound of granite and glass being crushed reached his ears. Meters below the Empire State Building’s peak, Daigoro scaled its side as fast as he could. He dared not look down for fear of losing his grip. Above him, Kong’s furious roar echoed down. The ape had spotted him. But Daigoro was not deterred and continued his ascent, increasing his rate of climb. Kong watched him grow closer, already thinking of kicking the bloated creature off of his tower. His attention was drawn away as more missiles struck his exposed back. He reached out to grab a passing jet, missing by mere inches. Daigoro’s hand suddenly wrapped around his ankle, catching Kong by surprise, and tugged. Kong grabbed the antenna in an attempt to impede Daigoro’s efforts. It groaned in protest and began to bend, a concept it was not designed to withstand, as Daigoro pulled Kong nearer and nearer to the edge of the building. When the Empire State Building had been constructed, it had not been designed to hold the weight of a large monster, let alone two. Granite split open and steel frames buckled as the rooftop slowly came apart underneath Kong’s feet. But it was not the ape’s titanic weight that triggered the collapse.
Nobody knew why the missiles from one of the jets missed its target. Perhaps there was a last-second miscalculation in the targeting system. Perhaps it had never been on in the first place. Or maybe the pilot had seen the collapsing rooftop and taken advantage of the situation. Nevertheless, the missiles buried themselves into the side of the most famous landmark in New York and burst into powerful balls of flame. Kong and Daigoro simultaneously cried out in surprise as the rooftop was blasted away, and the two began plummeting to the ground far, far below. In mid-air, Daigoro grabbed hold of Kong’s furry body and pulled him closer, putting the ape between himself and the street, in the hopes of softening his own landing. Kong thrashed around in desperation to try and break out of Daigoro’s grip. A flash of yellow color out of the corner of his eye caught his attention. Meters away, his blonde companion was falling alongside them. She did not move or made a sound, her eyes closed shut. Kong struggled valiantly and finally managed to break free of Daigoro’s grasp. With one hand, he grabbed hold of the hippo beast’s throat. With the other, he reached out and grasped the woman, pulling her close. Just before they were destined to meet the ground, Kong managed to twist himself and Daigoro around to put the bumpy beast beneath him.
The impact shook almost the entire city. Tons of tarmac, granite, concrete and other debris lost their connection to the earth, and rose into the air, spreading in all directions. Nearby buildings could not stay intact as the tremor spread throughout the air, and became nothing more than piles of rubble. A dense haze of dust rose in the air, reaching up to almost a third of the Empire State Building’s height. Amid the cloud, soldiers struggled to come to their senses and aid their injured comrades. At the point of impact, a mountain of granite towered over the surrounding structures. Neither creature could be located.
For a moment, there was silence; peace, even. And then, the rubble stirred. A burly, tan-colored hand emerged out of the mountain. It began brushing aside the rubble in order to free its owner. When enough debris had been removed, the owner of the hand revealed themselves to the world. Rubble and dust were spilt in all directions as King Kong pulled his dust-stained, hairy form out of his would-be tomb. He groaned painfully and tumbled down the mountain of debris. People and vehicles scattered as he came crashing down into the streets, breathing heavily. The battle with Daigoro had finally taken its toll on the great ape. Kong desperately sought the strength to rise, but he had none left. Kong’s hand pawed the street, uprooting the asphalt road and exposing underground power cables. His colossal fingers caught them as he clawed the ground again, and he pulled his hand back, ripping the cables in half, exposing his hand to the electrical power contained within. Kong lifted himself up as the power coursed through his arm and through the rest of his body, feeling the voltage recuperate his godlike strength. But it was not enough to restore him to his full potential. He craved more. Kong let out a grunt of dissatisfaction as the massive gorilla made his way deeper into the labyrinth of New York’s streets, seeking the source of the power that flowed underneath his feet.
Mere meters behind the beast, the rubble from which he had emerged from shifted again. The side of the mountain burst open, granting Daigoro the freedom he so desperately needed. He crashed to the ground and lay there, inhaling oxygen and exhaling carbon dioxide loudly. His body was spotted with small cuts and ugly bruises, courtesy of both Kong and the fall. His clenched left hand fell to the pavement and unfurled its fingers, revealing the prize within: Kong’s beautiful captive. Armed soldiers carefully removed her from Daigoro’s palm, cautious as to what the plush beast would do next. Daigoro regarded her sleeping figure with relief that she would now be spared from the conflict. With what little strength remained, he rose up from the streets and onto his feet. He concentrated on Kong’s limping form. He tightened his fists, snorted in anger, and made his way toward Kong. He would finish this.
Kong grunted and winched in pain with each step he took. His target stood mere meters away: an abandoned power station, still surging with electricity. As he drew nearer and nearer, he became aware of thunderous footsteps behind him, gradually coming closer and closer. Kong was so close to the station he could reach out and touch it when Daigoro performed a flying kick and struck Kong square in the back. The strike knocked Kong into the power station, flattening the complex and severing power cables. They entwined Kong’s mammoth form, releasing their electrical prowess into the gorilla’s flesh. Daigoro watched on with a triumphant expression adorning his face, expecting the ape’s demise. He had no way of knowing what would happen next.
King Kong surprised Daigoro by rising from the rubble. A powerful roar left his throat and shook the nearby buildings. He flexed his arms, severing the cables that entrapped them. Millions of volts of electricity surged through his veins, augmenting his strength. Daigoro’s eyes widened in surprise and horror at these events. Instead of killing Kong, the electricity had returned the ape to his prime. The Eight Wonder of the World beat his hands against his chest, each strike causing electricity to crackle across his chest. He dashed forward, smashing his fist into Daigoro’s jaw. The hippopotamus-like beast shot back, flailing his arms and spitting blood. Daigoro moaned in pain. It wasn’t just the ape’s strength to contend with now. Daigoro could still feel the sting of electricity on his face. Kong advanced, driving his fists into Daigoro’s rib cage. Daigoro hit the ground with a might crash.
The impact kicked up a cloud of dust, hiding Daigoro from sight. But that alone could not hope to save him from an enraged and empowered King Kong. The godlike ape assaulted the younger monster with strikes laced with electricity, zapping his flesh and draining him of his strength. Daigoro battered the living god with his massive hands, only to receive more shocks each time he made contact with Kong’s skin. With both hands, Kong grasped Daigoro’s throat, lifting him up. Daigoro’s flesh unwillingly conducted Kong’s searing electrical prowess. With his augmented strength, Kong tossed the bumpy beast over his shoulder. The air was forced from Daigoro’s lungs when he hit the ground, leaving an impression of himself embedded there for many years to come. Kong cruelly mocked Daigoro with laughter as he moved closer.
Suddenly, several cannon blasts and missiles exploded against the ape’s torso. Kong, hardly fazed by the blasts, looked down to see a number of tanks, jeeps and missile launchers move into position to block his path. Daigoro was more than willing to risk his life to save their city. They were equally willing to risk theirs to save his. Kong mocked their efforts by releasing a roar of pure rage and raised his forearms to smash the masses to scrap. But Daigoro prevented this by rushing in and grabbing the gorilla’s forearms and pushing against him with all his strength. He tried not to scream as bolts of electricity coursed through his arms and fried the outer layer of skin to a crisp. Kong growled and kicked at the younger monster in order to force him to relent. Electrical shocks shot through Daigoro’s stomach, legs and groin each time the mighty ape’s foot planted itself on him. Yet still he chose to defy Kong. This was unacceptable in Kong’s eyes. He ripped his arms free of the bumpy beast’s grip. Daigoro never saw the ape’s fists slam into his chest, they moved so fast. He landed roughly, coughing up blood, and clutched his bruised chest. It hurt to breathe. Kong must have broken a rib or two. Despite all the punishment he had taken, he managed to stand and face Kong. He would not submit to the so-called ‘King of the Apes’. All around him soldiers cheered him on, motivating him to keep fighting. Kong would not allow this, and charged forward.
Daigoro gathered his remaining strength in order to perform his next feat. He flared his nostrils, taking in a deep breath. Then, he opened his mouth and belched forth a stream of scorching flames. Kong howled out as the flames made contact with his face. He collapsed to the ground and rolled away, patting out his flaming fur. Daigoro was on him in a flash, driving his foot into his gut and sending him rolling further away. The plush monster ran up to pummel Kong further. He didn’t expect Kong to be ready for him, though, as the King of Faro Island rolled onto his back and swung his fist into Daigoro’s side, toppling the young beast. Both mammal kaiju got up at the same moment and were instantly upon each other. Daigoro struggled to do any lasting damage to Kong’s superior form. His powerful fists rained down on Kong, conducting electricity each time. Kong grasped Daigoro’s sides, allowing electricity to fry the hippo beast’s flesh. Before Kong could inflict too much damage, Daigoro thrust his forehead into Kong’s. The giant ape released his grip and staggered back. Thinking and acting quickly, Daigoro reached down and grabbed hold of one of Kong’s legs. With quick reflexes, he yanked the leg off the ground with one hand, before slamming his other hand down into his kneecap.
An audible crack filled the air. Kong fell back, roaring in unimaginable pain, clutching his broken kneecap. Daigoro studied the ape, considering what to do next. In the distance, the rising Sun reflected off the ocean’s surface, making it seem as if they were sparkling. This phenomenon caught Daigoro’s eye. Water conducted electricity. Perhaps the waters of the Atlantic held the key to victory. Before him, Kong was beginning to rise, supporting himself on his hands and remaining leg. Daigoro broke into a sprint, hoping to lure Kong toward the bay. Kong watched the tan-colored beast retreat. Normally he would have allowed his foe retreat. But not anymore. Despite his broken leg, Kong was still fast enough to give chase after Daigoro. Before Daigoro could reach the coastline, Kong tackled him to the ground. He pushed the bumpy beast onto his back and wrapped his hands around the hippo monster’s throat, choking and electrocuting him simultaneously. Daigoro struggled under his physically superior foe as the life was slowly drained out of him. Pointing his head upward, he spat out a sheet of flames into Kong’s face. The godlike beast cried out but did not relinquish his hold, instead tightening his hold on the tan monster’s throat. Daigoro kept up his stream of fire, but found it getting harder and harder to do so as Kong slowly cut off his oxygen. Kong squeezed tighter, constricting Daigoro’s throat further, the flames within beginning to burn and sear the plush beast’s own esophagus. With his throat closing up, electricity zapping the outside, and flames burning the inside, Daigoro was losing the battle to stay conscious. His flames began to lessen, as darkness overtook his vision…
Suddenly, the pressure on his throat was gone! Daigoro quickly cut off his flames and greedily gulped down air. When his vision returned, Kong was nowhere to be seen. Daigoro slowly sat up, confused. A black shaggy mass next to him caught his attention. He quickly scrambled to his feet and took up a battle stance, but Kong did not get up. The scent of burnt flesh filled Daigoro’s nostrils. Fighting the urge to vomit, the young monster gently nudged Kong. He did not respond. Daigoro kicked the ape over, revealing the extent of his flame breath. Kong’s face was unrecognizable, a nightmarish mixture of blackened bone and strings of flesh. Smoke gently wafted out of the ape’s open maw. Daigoro’s flames had roasted Kong’s lungs inside his own body.
Daigoro roared into the dawn sky, raising his arms into the air before drumming them against his chest. The military forces regarded the savior of New York City with mixed opinions. Many cheered, throwing their helmets into the air and embracing their fellow men, celebrating Kong’s demise and Daigoro’s victory. Other kept their weapons trained on Daigoro, unsure on what he would do next. And miles away, watching this events from a portable television, a tired blonde woman wept into her hands over the loss of her champion.
