felines and canines are my favorites I must say however invasive species, namely; feral dogs, cats, pigs, rats, and rabbits, but also certain invasive frogs and fish. Of course no one likes a parasite.

there isn't anything good about mosquitoes. They exist solely to harm people.

Now now my ungulate and perciform friends in some regions these pest are important pollinators. They are also a food source in many many biomes. I really meant the common mosquitoes you see in cities. Those species are not food sources or pollinators according to articles I read, where even scientists are advocating their extinction or at least reduction.

Someone should add T-rex to his list.
It's the dinosaur equivalent of the african lion, the most deified carnivore in modern times.
In reality, T-rex mostly killed immature animals. Rarely, rarely did the popular image of t-rex fighting triceratops happen.

Generally speaking most all apex predators, future and past, if given an option will target the young, old, sick, or injured individual over a healthy individual, especially one in a prime/alpha position. The only species I can think of that targets the biggest most powerful prey is man.

Lions used to be the most wide spread mammalian predatory, till man took the spot. Pretty impressive in my book. Accomplishments of this nature impress me more than one on one competiotion.

the lion is a worthless, pathetic scavenger.
1 lion pride in the Ngorongoro crater had a hunting success rate of 0% for a year. I kid you not. Every kill was scavenged from the hyenas.
I will always hate the lion.

Well, the lamest animal isn't a Lion or other Apex predators, it's pack hunters and scavengers, like Hyenas and Wolfs. Solitary animals like the Komodo Dragon and Saltwater Crocodiles are some of the strongest animals, the Dragon is known to survive on it's own when its 5 minutes old, but Crocodiles need protection from they're mother after they hatch.

hyenas defeat lions more often than people think.
Crocodiles, AWDs, and even the odd leopard have all on more than one instance gotten the best of a lion.
Buffalos, giraffes, zebras, rhinos, and the like would all destroy a lion face to face.
Hell it isn't even the largest or strongest big cat. That would be the siberian tiger.
I hate the lion because people give it qualities it doesn't have.
