I favor the gorilla here for size and strength, but of course getting bitten by the dragon is always a risk. Gorilla 8/10.

gorillas possess a massive upper body strength They can break bamboo which has a higher tensile strength than steel One tail slash from the Lizard could break concrete, bamboo, and wood, which is stronger than Steel too. A Dragon could rip a tree in accident.

I need some proof the tail can break concrete or even bamboo with their tail.

i've seen a calm gorilla pull down a tree with 1 hand.
Imagine what a furious gorilla exerting with both arms could have done.
He could have ripped the tree out of the ground and probably throw it to the side

I have seen dragons being trapped in cages made of steel, even in a fury the lizard did no damage to the cage. I even voted for the dragon here but I relise its limitations.

How about you stick to gorillas or even apes as even though they are distantly related monkeys are not apes and so your info can easily be dismissed on that basis.

what's with the angry response. I was only using it as an example of primate strength.

Primates are a diverse group because of that you cant always directly apply one species' attributes to another. For instance even in a particular genus there can be large gaps in how formidable two species are and how physically powerful they are even at equal sizes.

the gorilla can potentially use a rock or stick as a weapon. Something else to consider.

If the lizard is tamed it's not strong, wild Dragons are know to break a human's femur, stronger than bamboo and concrete, these dragons are known to rip down trees by accident.

I need some proof the tail can break concrete or even bamboo with their tail. A dragon could break a human's femur, harder than concrete, so one tail slash could break the Ape's ribcage.

Small monitors coud break something nearly 4 times it's size. My water monitor could pull his box from inside, and the box is 2 times his weight. He was trying to pull a chicken skin, put the box was pulled too, that was just a 3,5 kg monitor pulling a 8,5 kg box, imagine what could be a really really huge 200 kg komodo dragon would do.

A gorilla's arms could also break a human femur
