if the fight took place on land, seal wins almost all the time. It can simply fall on the crocodile.

Honestly, I'd say the crocodile wins nearly 100% of the time, as long as it doesn't die from exhaustion. I can hardly envision the seal harming the crocodile. crocodiles often fail to kill a buffalo, an animal far smaller and thinner than a bull elephant seal.

Actually I changed my mind. I started to watch elephant seals fight and started to grow an interest in them. I can just say now that the seal would crush the croc

I don't think a crocodile would even attempt to fight an elephant seal if it saw one. It would be scared off.

Southern Elephant Seal VS. Saltwater Crocodile- Elephant Seal. It would be too big for the crocodile to drown, and the crocodile would be limited in terms of getting a good grip on the seal, with its jaws due to the elephant seals large body. Plus the seals aquatic which would make it more impossible for the crocodile to drown. Even if it wasn't aquatic an animal of this size would be too big to be taken by a crocodile. Southern Elephant Seal Wins.

The elephant seal only has weight, sure it has thick skin but it’s still soft, the croc is faster smarter and stronger as well as having harder and thicker armour than the elephant seal. If the seal were to lay on it the croc would be able to hold its breath for up to 8 hours and play dead which they if caught by humans. If the saltie gets its jaws around the head neck or lower body it would crush the seal and if deathrolled would result in artery damage, broken bones and internal bleeding, the seal is just to slow for the croc and is shorter and are almost identical in weight. I love elephant seals but against nature’s ultimate predator I can’t see a high chance for the seal in this match.

The elephant seal will drown the saltwater crocodile in the ocean The croc can hold its breath for 8 hours the seal can’t even do 30 minutes under water so good luck with that
