Emperor penguins would be hit pretty hard IMO I don't know too much about penguins, but i think you're right. are there some cetateans in Antarctica that polar bears could prey on?

Well assuming polar bears do prey on penguins, they would pretty much decimate the leopard seal population.

Hawiian or Mediterranean monk seals to replace the extinct Carribean monk seal. It would also be an enviorment for them to replace some of there depleted numbers.

^I don't think they would be able to survive very long. Why not? Warthogs survive so wild boars should also be able to. Wild boars can survive in just most land habitat except the polar regions.

With people like you it's honestly hard to tell if you irritated or not.
Other introductios that could possibly work.
1. cougars in the african plains.
2. hyenas in yellowstone (assuming climate is not a problem)
3. hippos in the asian jungles.
Any more ideas?
