It grows to a size of up to 7 feet (2.1 m) in length, with a 4-foot-long (1.2 m) head and torso, and a 3-foot-long (0.91 m) tail. Generally it weighs from 65 to 140 pounds (29 to 64 kg). VS The spotted hyena is the largest extant member of the Hyaenidae.[43] Adults measure 95.0—165.8 cm in body length, and have a shoulder height of 70.0-91.5 cm.[25] Adult male spotted hyenas in the Serengeti weigh 40.5—55.0 kg (89—121 lb), while females weigh 44.5—63.9 kg (98—141 lb). Spotted hyenas in Zambia tend to be heavier, with males weighing on average 67.6 kg (149 lb), and females 69.2 kg (153 lb).[34] Exceptionally large weights of 81.7 kg (180 lb)[9] and 86 kg (190 lb)[25] are known. It has been estimated that adult members of the now extinct Eurasian populations weighed 102 kg (225 lbs).

I think that the anteaters are an exception to that rule; They are impressive, but pale before jaws that could snap its wrist or ankle with a single bite.

I'm going to go with the hyena here, simply too powerful of a bite.

Also giant anteater has poor stamina, due to its diet which do not offer any energy that much.

I don't think the anteaters style of fighting requires much steam;

I don't think the anteaters style of fighting requires much steam; It's not that serious fighting, and spotted hyenas are really durable creatures.

The Giant anteater's 6 inch claws are quite impressive, but I am inclined to think that a Spotted hyena which is bigger, faster, more durable, more intelligent, and has jaws powerful enough to crack elephant bones and crush giraffe femurs is going to beat an anteater relatively easily.

I think the hyena wins this one, but I dont think it would choose this confrontation or actively hunt the anteater if they were found together.

I've heard that termite-eaters' flesh are often too toxic for a predator to handle it. Aardvarks are found in the hyena's habitats, however they do not readily to feed on an aardvark carcass.

I'm going with the Hyena. It's jaws are extremely powerful and Hyena's are very durable and hard to kill.

Anteaters are said to kill jaguars so it can kill or repel the hyena. If the hyena persists I think he can wear it down and kill it. Even if the anteater lands a few cuts, the hyena's not going down. Hyenas have after all withstood poundings from lions and lived.

The hyena must position the bone so that it is parallel to the back of the sides of the mouth where the premolars are located to bite it. (If I am not mistaken) If a hyena could snap the leg of a giraffe or rhino while it is still alive or struggling, they would drive lions to extermination. But I do agree with you the anteater will lose to a determined hyena. A bite would utterly devastate the anteater's weak looking skull.
