The Tosa varies considerably in size, with the Japanese-bred dogs tending to be about half the size of those bred outside the country. The Japanese breed generally weighs between 80 and 120 pounds (36 and 54 kg), while the non-Japanese breeders have focused on dogs that weigh from 130 to 200 lb (59 to 91 kg) and stand 24.5 to 32 inches (62 to 82 cm) at the withers. The coat is characterized by its short and smooth appearance and is often red, brindle, or fawn. Occasionally it can be a dull black, but this is somewhat rare. Maintenance of the coat is usually minimal. vs The Western Grey Kangaroo is one of the largest kangaroos in Australia. It weighs 28-54 kg (62-119 lb) and its length is 0.84-1.1 m (34-43.3 in) with a 80-100 cm (28-39 in) tail, standing approximately 1.3 m (51 in) tall. It exhibits sexual dimorphism with the male up to twice the size of female. It has thick, coarse fur with color ranging from pale grey to brown; its throat, chest and belly have a paler color. It feeds at night, mainly on grasses but also on leafy shrubs and low trees. It has a nickname Stinker because mature males have a distinctive curry-like odor. The kangaroo lives in groups of up to 15. The males compete for females during the breeding season. During these "boxing" contests, they would lock arms and try to push each other over. Usually, only the dominant male in the group mates. The gestation period is 30-31 days, after which, the baby Joey attaches to the teat in the pouch for 130-150 days.

I think the Kangaroo would win. Unless there were more than one dog.

Mismatch, lots of dogs can kill a kangaroo fairly easily. A tosa couldn't catch one, but if it did it would be over fast. There's an old australian 70s movie called "wake from fright" in which there's a scene where some drunks throw a scrawny greyhound out of a moving car's window and after a stumble it gets up and runs down and kills a kangaroo. I mention this only because to some it might not be common knowledge how extensively sighthounds have preyed on kangaroos in australian history. Tosa is gross overkill.

I think the kangaroo wins. A kick could break the dog's jaw.

Kangaroos are underrated animals. They have a hard kick and can use their hands to fight with some nasty claws with them.
Either way though, the Tosa Inu wins this easily. The kangaroo needs a size advantage to kill a dog like this, a red kangaroo would kill it. But this kangaroo doesn't seem suited for killing a dog much larger than itself.
